California lawmakers have voted to ban food additives linked to behavioral issues in kids from school lunchrooms.
That means snacks like Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Twinkies and more will no longer be allowed in school cafeterias across the state. Stores may still sell the food products, though, under the first-of-its-kind legislation, called the California School Food Safety Act.

Are you sure? Personally I think much of the behavioral issues are due to crappy parenting and single parent households. Blaming it on food additives seems like the lazy way out. And it ultimately won’t solve the problem.

It doesn’t mean both don’t contribute. And giving your food that junk is bad parenting.

Ban Monosodium Glutamate, it's STILL in nearly ALL the red-powdered chips..
This stuff is bad, to include causing SLEEP problems along with any of the SUGAR SUBSTITUTES such as XYLITOL or any that end in "______TOL"

“California lawmakers have voted to ban food additives linked to behavioral issues in kids”
Yeah, it’s the food additives that cause the ‘behavioral issues’. I agree that kids shouldn’t be eating a lot of junk food, but I pretty sure the causes go a bit deeper than that.

Both. If they’re feeding their children Flaming Hot Cheetos, they are exhibiting bad parenting skills.

I see your point. So it’s a twofer: bad food AND bad parenting.

None of the bad behavior is due to food additives.
Just more nonsense from the pseudoscience folks

Cheetos appears very similar to some industrial waste byproducts. Looks like they dry it out and add bloating agents during processing to inflate them, making them crunchy and tasty.
