Polls: Senate Races Tighten as GOP Challengers in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania Surge

Senate races in key battleground states such as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan–where Republicans look to flip Democrat-held seats red–are tightening, polling shows.

A Fabrizio Ward poll of the three states published by the Pinpoint Policy Institute found very close races in Pennsylvania and Michigan, with Republican challenger Eric Hovde within earshot of Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) in Wisconsin:

Swing States poll by Fabrizio Ward (R)

MICHIGAN Trump: 48% Harris: 46%

MI Senate Slotkin: 43% Rogers: 43% —— PENNSYLVANIA Trump: 47% Harris: 46%

PA Senate Casey (inc): 46% McCormick: 43% —— WISCONSIN Harris: 49% Trump: 45%

We need to get rid of Tester in Montana and replace him with Sheehy. Sheehy is worth a contribution.

Push polls can be used to nudge races one way or the other but they start to fade away as the pollster tries to protect their reputation right before the election. Ever noticed that Republican is typically way behind until election day?

I remember them filling the air with Mondale’s so-called brilliance in wanting to raise taxes, Reagan being too old, and Geraldine Ferraro portrayed as the second coming of Queen Esther in 1984. No polls though. None. And the day of the election USA Today says, “Reagan seeks fifty state sweep.”

The media never changes.

McCormick is running good ads about Casey being responsible for the high cost of living.

It has made no sense that Trump would be basically tied in the polls and then have those down ticket races showing the GOP candidate 5 to 7 points behind.

The pollsters are going to have to be more honest and stop over-polling Democrats as we get closer to the election if they want to be seen as reliable in the future. Some have such bad results that I believe the only reason they are still in business is to form the opinion that democrats are in the lead.

Ok people. How do we get them to eat their own? I’m thinking of Casey. 18 years in office for that lightweight. Santorum wiped the floor with him in 3 debates-all televised nationally. Couldn’t stop the wave nationally-2006. Kinda like Tester-got lucky in a GOP down year(2006), reelected in a POTUS(2012) year when we followed Mittens into battle knowing we’d get killed. Then came the mid-term in ‘18. Incumbency is a tough nut crack but Montana is red and I think we got it. Penn? We’ll see

Fake polls so nobody will be surprised when they manipulate the ballot counts. We are now a banana republic.

Such as in 2016 when Hillary was ahead by 4.6 points just before election day.

Honduras, a banana republic has much tighter control on elections than United States. We are not a banana republic. We are just a banana in regards to election integrity.

While there’s some merit in your observation, please remember that these are well entrenched Democrats with huge war chests to deploy.

Such is not the case in AZ, where Kari Lake is running for an open seat, but is on the verge of being trounced by the leftist Gallego. There, she is her own worst enemy. She began her task two years ago by telling the McCain wing of the AZ GOP to go to hell (therein forfeiting 20% of the GOP base). Most recently, she squeaked out a win in the GOP primary, along the way calling her opponent (highly respected Sheriff Mark Lamb) a coward. This resulted in 14 elected sheriffs in AZ calling on her to issue an apology.

While she talks a good game, it remains troubling that as recently as 2012 she was a supporter and contributor to Barack Obama. One thing’s for certain - after November we’ll thankfully never have to hear from her again!

I think we will take Pennsylvania, both for Trump and McCormick. Refusing to select Shapiro as VP candidate as a direct slap against Jews, and Harris’s ban on fracking, are both issues that will make a big difference in November.

For those of us that don’t live in the state we can do our part by promoting McCormick and reminding people of Harris’ stance on oil and gas. Kamala hasn’t changed her position, she has just had the media change her narrative (we haven’t actually heard from her on the issue).
