Elections commission votes to keep Kennedy on Wisconsin’s presidential ballot

presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will stay on the Wisconsin ballot in November, the Wisconsin Elections Commission decided Tuesday, despite Kennedy’s last-minute request to be removed.

Elections commission Chair Ann Jacobs, one of three Democratic appointees to the evenly divided commission, argued that state law prevents removing a candidate for office who has met the requirements.

“If you file nomination [papers] and qualify, you may not decline the nomination, and the name of that person shall appear upon the ballot, except in the case of the death of the person,” Jacobs said, arguing against taking Kennedy off the ballot.

The 5-1 vote that included Kennedy on the ballot followed a motion by one of the three Republican commissioners, Don Millis, that excluded Kennedy from a list of approved independent tickets. The Millis proposal failed on a 3-3 tie vote with only Republicans voting in favor.

And yet the Green candidate and others will be removed when they want to remain.

This keeps showing the power of the RFK Jr endorsement the way these states are bending over backwards to try to keep him on the ballot is amazing

So they want to keep him on because they’re hoping his voters, some of whom might vote for Trump, will waste their vote on RFK. Or am I reading this wrong?

I think Wisconsin is the most likely flip because neighboring state pride probably doesn’t want Walz

It proves that RFK Jr’s endorsement made a HUGE impact..all RFK Jr has to do is go to every single one of those states that has his name on he ballot and tell everyone to vote for Trump

From 2006...

Update: Is ‘vote flipping’ an e-voting problem or user error?

Guess why Junior is still on the ballot...

I think that’s just fine. Most Voters who were going to vote for him, will vote for the administration he endorsed and will be a part of. The others will probably not vote for the Red Fascist administration or they would have been voting for the Biden/Harris administration.

That’s the great thing.

No longer can they say their actions were taken to only to save us from Adolf Trump. They do it a KENNEDY too. RFK, Jr. has enough chops with 80% of the party that they will listen to him. Once they listen to him, it’s all over.

I love Trump and will crawl over broken glass to vote for him. However, to most Dem women, his delivery is incredibly boorish. Kennedy will knock them dead.

I thought they were suing to keep him off the ballot last week?

Wisconsin and Michigan could have Kennedy ads asking people to vote for Trump and stating the Dem election officials are not removing his name which he requested.

So, Biden will be on the ballot as well, right?

You know, he was polling at 11% earlier. I think now he’s at 5% and that’s being completely censored. Last Thursday I thought he was just a little right of AOC. After hearing him I’m border line broken glass Kennedy guy. The censoring of this man is over! Take your brilliant idea and shove it up their arses.
