Russia launched a deadly large-scale attack across Ukraine on Monday, sending drones and cruise and ballistic missiles toward at least 15 regions, Ukrainian officials said.
The strikes were among the largest such aerial attacks since war began in 2022, with Russia using at least 127 missiles and 109 drones in its attack against Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"And like most previous Russia strikes, this one is just as dastardly, targeting critical civilian infrastructure," Zelenskyy said in Ukrainian, adding later that Russian President Vladimir Putin "can only do what the world allows him to do."

Of note: So far Ukraine has claimed to have shot down only 18 drones and no "missiles".
That is a complete change from previous attacks where they claimed up to 95% shot down. Something has changed. Either critical air defense has been moved...or the high numbers overwhelmed the system.
Perhaps a little of both.

Ukraine mistook Russian restraint for weakness.
Apparently targeting critical civilian infrastructure is okay. We got away with it during the Serbian War.

When Vlad attacks the Ukraine, the only thing he accomplishes is more money and more weapons for the Ukraine. At this point during this failed invasion, it’s can only be counter-productive.
Pack it all up, go home and blame it on your generals Vlad. That’s the obvious end game, either that or Vlad’s own demise which result in the same conclusion, but with the generals blaming it on Vlad.

It's not like they didn't know where the targets were located and they had to be scouted out.
