RFK Jr. endorses Trump as he ends presidential campaign

PHOENIX — Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign told a Pennsylvania court that he will be endorsing former President Donald Trump, ahead of his own Friday afternoon announcement putting to rest a tumultuous independent presidential campaign.

The filing in Pennsylvania, in a lawsuit related to a legal challenge to his own ballot access in the state, said that Kennedy was withdrawing from the ballot "as a result of today's endorsement of Donald Trump for the office of President of the United States."

Sophistry. I read those books in college too about sacrificing because the interest was to pass on your genetic identity even if the individual did not profit. They fascinated me at the time but now I see that concept as a slight of hand. If we sacrifice for another, for a Country or for an ideal the fact that we gain satisfaction for doing the right thing (in our mind & heart) does not turn the action into self interest.

Typically, the main reason candidates place a campaign on a suspended status is that under FEC rules it still allows for funds to be raised to pay off debts incurred by the campaign. Other than that it pretty much means they campaign is over.

I did not pull that fragment because there were no specifics about what was meant and it was ambiguous.
How can you be joining the campaign and urging people to vote for you in 40 states?
