Scarborough Says Kamala Proposals ‘Ain’t Socialism’ — ‘That’s Pragmatic Politics’
Breitbart ^ | 08/23/2024 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 08/23/2024 7:36:14 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough praised Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), the Democrat presidential and vice-presidential nominees, respectively, for their policy proposals and endeavors.

According to the former Republican congressman turned MSNBC co-host, such proposals were not “socialism,” but “pragmatic politics.”

“[H]ow right the senator is that often what’s branded as far-left and progressive is right in the middle of where so many Americans are,” he said. “Like, for instance, Tim Walz is being attacked as a communist, as a socialist. Why? Because he wanted hungry kids in Minnesota to have breakfast and lunch at school. Kamala Harris being called a communist — a socialist, a communist because she wants to make it easier for younger Americans to get that first house, which they cannot get now.”

Apparently Scarborough hasn’t seen HS teacher Walz’s statements to his students about how Communism is a system that makes sure that everyone has the same things.

Or, more likely, he HAS seen it but like a good media lapdog, he’s not reporting it.

If Tim Walz knows any hungry kids in Minnesota who he wants to have breakfast, then he should dig into his own pocket to buy them breakfast.

Stop robbing everyone else to pay for it.

He should explain to us the substantive differences between her policies and a socialist’s. I suspect that if he tried, he’d have to explain the substantive difference between her policies and a fascist’s.

Tim Walz is being attacked as a communist, as a socialist. Why? Because he wanted hungry kids in Minnesota to have breakfast and lunch at school.

No one is criticizing that Walz wants "hungry kids to eat" etc.

Rather, it's the despicable methods he would employ to attain that laudable goal.

Regards,

Joey’s right of course. Kamala’s brilliant economic plans should not be considered socialism just because the Soviet Union and Venezuela tried them out first.

Pragmatic neighbor is the exact opposite of a Democratic. Someone has not been paying attention.

Joe Scarborough wanders about in some fever swamp from which there is apparently no escape. Maybe he has to take stupid pills every morning, to keep on with this drivel. There is NOTHING pragmatic about putting tampon dispensers in boys’ bathrooms, of authorizing “gender transformation” for minor children without the parent’s permission or even knowledge.

Joe Scarborough is highly selective in the “virtues” he selects to emphasize. Tim Walz, for the most part, is not a virtuous person, and has a badly skewed view of human nature.

Pragmatic Politics. Commonly known as Booschidt and Free Stuff. Sounds like Moanin’ Joey has the hots for Miss Voo Doo U.S.A. and her Travelin’ Hoo Doo Song and Dance Show.

I don’t know Joe, I think I would just settle for a constitutional republic. We get a little taste of that democracy here in Kansas when they, not me, elect a dem governor every few years.

“Pragmatic Politics” is making promises you have no intention of keeping. That’s why Democrats are able to make the same promises election-after-election.

Cut Joe a break. He is just repeating what his masters tell him to say. He doesn’t want to be pulled off the air again.
