WASHINGTON, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, 99, is eagerly awaiting his chance to cast a ballot for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris this fall even as he approaches his 100th birthday, his grandson said on Wednesday. Carter, a Democrat who served in the White House from between 1977 and early 1981, has been in hospice care for about 18 months and suffered the loss of his wife Rosalynn last year. But he remains "engaged" and wants to see the country move past former Republican President Donald Trump, Jason Carter told MSNBC.
"He's super aware," Jason Carter said. "Just recently, we were talking about his 100th birthday, and he said, 'Yeah, I'm excited about that, but I'm really excited to vote for Kamala Harris.'" The former peanut farmer and nuclear submarine officer from Georgia has lived longer after his four-year term in office than any other U.S. president. He will turn 100 on Oct. 1, six days before the Southern state starts mailing out absentee ballots. Early in-person voting starts on Oct. 15.

I get the impression that every time Carter goes into the hospice its a reaction to being ignored by the general public; he’s been in it now for what, 20 months? I never liked the man nor found any value in his constant bleating about what a wonderful person he is.
That rabbit did more damage to Jimmy then thought.

Carter knows now he will be the 3rd worst, just above Obama, if Harris is able to steal the election again.
For years Jimmah was the worst President of my lifetime. Then,he was a distant second to The Kenyan. Today he’s a very distant third to The Big Guy.

That is a very interesting take on what’s happening. How else would he get any attention, other than maybe declaring his full support for Donald Trump’s reelection!
Ronald Reagan and Rush Limbaugh will also be voting for Kamala.

As I understand it, dementia was one of the prerequisites
for that voting block.
Families complained that the elders had voted despite not
being able to recognize their own children.

I’ve seen Carter on the news. I’d be surprised if he even knew who HE is, let alone Kamala.
That makes sense.
