Donald Trump has been accused of violating federal law by allegedly calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the ceasefire deal the U.S. is helping negotiate between Israel and Hamas.
The former president allegedly made the call on August 14, according to Axios, which cited two unnamed "U.S. sources who were briefed on the call."
The next day, however, Netanyahu's office denied that the call took place....
Axios cited one source as saying that Trump's alleged call was intended to encourage Netanyahu to take the ceasefire deal that was on the table. However, the unnamed source told the outlet that they did not know what the actual conversation was.....

With the Biden admin sharks circling, and after what they have been doing to him and others, it would be pretty risky or irresponsible to even dip a toe into foreign contacts …to be accused even if just for the sake of stirring up more lawfare

Even if Trump was talking with Netanrahu/Israel, he’d be doing the job Biden/Harris have been refusing to do, or are incapable of doing. If Trump can get peace negotiations which restore peace to the region, then, what’s to complain about?
What democrats fear the most is that, Trump might be successful, just like his presidency was massively successful. Nope! Can’t allow any success to be attributed to Trump. Lock him up!

You may recall that Kerry met with Iranian government/diplomats in Paris when Trump was in office. Kerry was trying to tell the Iranians to ignore Trump and stick with the so-called Iran Nuclear Deal (which was and still is releasing frozen funds to Iran ostensibly to “help” them but really was to aid their nuclear program). Fortunately Israel plastered the outside of the mtn the nuke centrifuges are inside, and no doubt will eventually blow the place up from the inside. God willing, some brave operative/infiltrator.
What Kerry did was videoed and he was followed from the restaurant. He was acting as shadow government— and was quite illegal & nothing was done.
Trump already met with Bibi in FL. He also told the press at his press conferences that he told Bibi to get the job done and end the fighting.
There was no phone call and Axios is a bunch of suckers looking for blood and thinking they found some. No phone call, none needed. And also, Bibi denied there was any phone call immediately.
Certain powerful elements within our government don't want peace.
It really doesn't matter if it is (was) Biden or Harris, Walz, Newsom, Shapiro, or any other person with a "(D)" after their name - the Slimes & Newsweak will blindly support them.
Equally, it doesn't matter if it is Trump or any other with an "(R)" after their name - they will be viciously attacked at every turn. (Did any of Nixon, Ford, Reagan, H.W. Bush, G.W. Bush, or McCain get treated well by either?)
There is precedent. Trump was impeached for a phone call to Ukraine and is under felony indictment in Georgia for a phone call made into the state.
In fact following the current British standard of ‘justice’ Trump could be indicted, tried, convicted and sentence for merely being in the room where a phone call has been made.
Always anonymous sources with no verification, yet the vile US media reports these fake stories as if they were true. Trump has enough on his plate without taking time to broker a peace deal in the Middle East
