A day after a Tesla Semi caught fire and left Interstate 80 in a chokehold, California lawmakers are calling on Gov. Gavin Newsom to delay a state mandate for big rigs in the state to be all-electric by 2045.

Along the freeway east of Nyack in Placer County, traffic stretch on for miles as crews tried to extinguish the Tesla fire. Another issue at play was the toxic fumes being emitted from the vehicle, the California Highway Patrol said.

I doubt many truckers will sleep well in the EV cabs or EV charging station rest stops.

Liberals are so simple minded and reactionary… no critical thinking whatsoever. Decision making on twisted emotional urges that ebb and flow in their demented, arrogant, depraved, carnally driven brains. A perpetual train wreck.

If you’d vote for this, why does Deep State have to steal your elections?

Californians, want your state back...?

SECURE YOUR DANGED ELECTIONS.

Something else i didn’t consider. So they’ll be expensive to operate because of the cost of alternative accommodations - and having to find them every night

Check with Acme Products. They have a catapult that can send the fiery item to the ocean where it can burn out on its own schedule. Highly endorsed by Wiley Coyote.

“I hadn’t thought of that, the cost of training every fire crew across the country about how to deal with these battery fires?”

It’s not much, just 10 minutes in a classroom where you’re taught three things:
1. How to determine wind direction (so you know where downwind is, and you stay away from that direction).
2. How to stay clear, since there’s nothing you can do to stop the fire (since all of the ingredients needed to sustain the fire are contained in the cells).
3. How to control crowds and prevent people from being able to see the fires, so as to prevent videos from being made (training in this area is required by the Globalists).

Tesla is shutting Numi Plant down apparently, once they open a new factory in Texas, so this won’t be an issue much longer....

“The toxic fumes from the fire, have these fumes even been tested on their impact on people?”

ARE YOU SERIOUS! What’s more important, saving the world from man made glowbull warming or saving the people causing it?

(obviously a sarcastic remark)

Even though the fire is out and the remnants of the truck are loaded onto a flat bed, the are still worried the thing will reignite.

PATHETIC! I think they should chain some of the eco thugs pushing this crap to the truck so if it reignites they can see first hand the problems their stupidity is causing.

Yep. This EV crap makes good, old-fashion, non-ethanol, high-test, leaded gas (Sunoco 260 blue) look better every day. LOL
