On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) stated that it is “disingenuous” for 2024 Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) to point to his Democratic counterpart, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) falsely saying his wife used IVF to get pregnant and said that “to be arguing about that issue at that level, I think is ridiculous.”
Host Kaitlan Collins asked, “JD Vance, while he’s out on the campaign trail, has been criticizing him today, because he’s often talked about his family’s story and journey with IVF, with their two kids, their fertility struggles. Today, his wife clarified that they used a different procedure called IUI. It’s different than IVF, but it is often in the same category and discussed as the same. It doesn’t involve discarding embryos, which is obviously why IVF has been at the center of our conversations. What do you make of Sen. Vance commenting on that, likening it to what he said about his military service?”

LOL how dare Vance point out that Walz is a liar..just wait, if former students come out accuse Walz of sexual abuse these same commies will say “How dare these students point out that Walz is a pedo that’s no one’s business”
I read that article 3 times and I still can’t figure out who said what and in what context.
“The science, the science”
What did Vance say?
Walz claimed iVF which is controversial depending on if you think the fertilized eggs are children.
Wife said they used different procedure that is usually tried before ivf and not as controversial.
So basically walz lied. Wife told the truth.
Or maybe the putz didn’t understand the distinction
Democrats are such scum. It is disingenuous to point out a liar, seriously. Guess the disingenuous Evers doesn’t know what disingenuous means.
IC, thanks for the clarification.....But what was his issue with Vance on the issue?
I can’t figure it out except maybe it is too important of an issue...and the procedures are about infertility and are similar.. and equating it to him lying about his military service is ridiculous for such a fundamental right. If that is not the argument she is making then I have no idea
I really don’t think it is the same as lying about his service. I think he just didn’t understand the nuances and lumped it together.
I guess that’s one way to obsfuscate it..
The reason this is an issue is Democrats are trying to tell people Republicans want to ban IVF even though the subject has never been brought up before.
Walz is probably embarrassed to admit that a turkey baster came through when he wasn’t up to the job.
Tony Evers, Stolen Valor apologist.
