German Lawmakers Demand Ukraine Pay for Nord Stream Sabotage, Gov’t Cutoff of Military Aid to Kyiv

Leading populist lawmakers in Germany, from both the left and right, have demanded consequences for Kyiv over Ukraine’s alleged involvement in the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines, including reparations and the cessation of arms deliveries.

Last week, it was reported that German authorities had issued an arrest warrant against a Ukrainian citizen for alleged involvement in the 2022 sabotage against the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines owned jointly by Russia and Germany.

This was followed by a report from the Wall Street Journal, which claimed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had initially approved the plot to attack the pipelines but had ordered the plan to be scrapped after the CIA got wind of the plot. However, according to the paper, Zelensky’s then-commander-in-chief, Valeriy Zaluzhniy, continued on with the plan anyway.

Use the seized Russian assets

German lawmakers should be blaming Putin, he started the war that caused this

German investors should have known better ... get in bed with a snake and you get bit

"Leading populist lawmakers in Germany, from both the left and right, have demanded consequences for Kyiv over Ukraine’s alleged involvement in the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines, including reparations and the cessation of arms deliveries."

Why not invoke Article 5 of the NATO charter? Quite the quandary....

Its an article V violation of NATO fundamental agreement.

NATO should go to war with Ukraine

The “drunk Ukraine general having a laugh by blowing up Nordstream” excuse being floated now shows just how stupid and childish the USA’s “leaders” in DC are.

10 to 1.....Germany is going to make a deal with Russia. I believe there is one line that can still be operated.

Sahra Wagenknecht quoted in the article is the head of the Communist Platform for the East German “Left” Party. Why is a conservative publication calling a German Communist a populist, implying they have something in common with President Trump?

Said another way, once again American taxpayers are stuck with the bill. No doubt the GOPe/RINOs/Jeffries/Johnson/Chuckie will get together and send an ‘EMERGENCY’ bill of $50 billion to Museli Brain’s desk for signing as it is slapped on the $36 trillion we already owe on the national debt. Prove me wrong.

If we cannot use the moniker “far left” here, were can we use it?

The Left party itself is the old East German communist party, which is still around and has a few seats in the German bundestag. Wagenknecht is the leader of the most hard-line faction. Yet reading this article you think she’s on the MAGA train or something.

But the German communist party types love Putin (I wonder why) and would love to cut off support for Ukraine.

“German lawmakers should be blaming Putin, he started the war that caused this”

That’s the logic of a 4yr old who has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

It’s not his fault, it’s Billy’s fault.

Putin didn’t blow up the pipeline.

Ukraine said that they did it.

Ukraine is broke so Germans are trying to shake down US taxpayers.

US is in bed with a snake in Ukraine and it has cost us dearly.

1. Germany didn’t consider Russia an adversary even after the invasion of Ukraine.

2. Ukraine never wanted the Nord Stream pipeline built in the first place — because it allowed for the transport of Russian gas to Western Europe while bypassing Ukraine.

Put these two together and you reach an obvious conclusion: Ukraine, not Russia, is Germany’s adversary here.

Putin blew up the Nord Stream pipes in order to:

- remove them as bargaining chips, re negotiations

- reduce electricity generation in Germany

Because Germany is the manufacturing powerhouse that is closest to Ukraine, and if engaged for the purpose of removing Russian forces from Ukraine, can do that.

Russia finding useful tools that are other-than-Russian for causing mayhem, is their practice.

Ukraine is broke so Germans are trying to shake down US taxpayers.

It’s even more ludicrous than that. Germany doesn’t NEED to shake down U.S. taxpayers. They now have all the standing they need to collectively obligate NATO to take military action against Ukraine under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty.
