Vice President Kamala Harris promised to prioritize a price-fixing plan on "day one," but commentators asked why she hasn't brought down inflation already while in the executive branch.
"When I am President, it will be a day one priority to bring down prices," Harris declared in a Thursday night social media post. "I’ll take on big corporations that engage in illegal price gouging and corporate landlords that unfairly raise rents on working families."
But the vice president and presidential hopeful faces one unique challenge in arguing about policy, the fact she has failed to enact such changes over the course of the Biden-Harris administration she currently presides in, a point many commentators pointed out.

When I hear what Democrats are saying, I think of an old Merle Haggard tune called “Rainbow Stew”. Kinda sounds like what they are promising, but will never deliver.

Hey, it sounds good but you can’t bring prices down with ever increasing minimum pay. We knew this several years ago when they started whining about “a living wage” at no skill jobs. Jobs that were originally meant for teenagers, not in no way, no how ever meant for the head of household earner supporting 2.5 kids, a dog, 2 car payments and a mortgage. But no one listened, sigh.
Socialism, as a command-and-control scheme, is notable for its agenda of making promises they never intend to keep.

She not only did she do nothing about inflation as VP, she provided the tie-breaking votes in the senate for two bills that dramatically increased inflation:
