Corey Comperatore’s widow, Helen, invited to join Trump on stage at next rally in Butler

The widow of Corey Comperatore, who was tragically killed during the rally in Buttler, has been invited to come on stage at Donald Trump’s second rally at the location. A gunman opened fire to assassinate Trump, but fatally shot Corey on July 13 at the same location.

Helen Comperatore, Corey’s widow, recently spoke in an interview with Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 about her late husband and the impact of his loss.

"He saved his wife, he saved his child and he was just the best guy. He was just the best," Helen said.

"He was just a wonderful man, and I want everybody to try not to remember him as the man that was shot at the rally," she continued. "Just try to remember Corey as, he was a great man that was a great father. He was a great husband."

The couple had been married for 29 years and had known each other since childhood, beginning their relationship in high school. They had two daughters who were also present at the rally. During the shooting, Corey heroically shielded his wife and daughters from the gunfire.

In the interview, Helen revealed that she was invited to attend Trump’s next rally in Butler, scheduled for October. However, she expressed that her decision to go on stage would depend on the security measures in place at the event.

God bless this woman. To lose her husband as a direct result of Deliberate actions by the Secret Service is just unconscionable

His death is really getting to Trump. He is exceedingly compassionate.

I wonder how the Liberals are going to criticize him for this.

Since everything Trump does a subject to criticism, I would love to see how the Liberals are going to criticize him showing compassion to the family and memory of a man who was killed in the assassination attempt.

Maybe the Liberals will surprise us and not say anything negative about Trump doing this.

“...I wonder how the Liberals are going to criticize him for this...”

They’ll call it a “cynical, self-serving photo-op” by “Orange Man BAD!” and say that the one she REALLY needs to be talking to is President Kamala, who will show her what TRUE compassion for victimized women and children is all about... How her deceased husband fell victim to the “hate and gun culture” promulgated by Orange Man Bad! (blah blah blah fill in the blanks)

It’s actually an EASY spin for the media. They have so much experience and expertise at that sort of spin by now, that they could do it in their sleep.

I’m sure if they had a reeducation camp, you would see the bereaved mother reappear in a few weeks, with purple hair in a bowl cut, a huge nose ring, along with her newly transgendered child. After meeting with President Kamala, they would then go and attend a Hamas Rally on the nearest major interstate or bridge.

/yes, sarc.

I dunno, it was nice to invite her but I would be very nervous and possibly too traumatized to do it if I were her. God Bless her if she does.

The rally should be after the election before it snows.

Indeed. Corey died from a bullet that was intended for Trump.

Yep, he’s big hearted and in fact soft hearted. He reminds me some of Rush in the way he gets characterized as this mean person but the reality is the opposite.

If I was her father/brother/son I’d advise her against it *only* because of the very real danger that some copy cat would try to get both her *and* DJT. Better that she should be on some video hookup to appear with Trump remotely!

Nobody is talking about this. Anywhere. Even here on FR the comments are in short supply. Everyone is in denial.

Because all the evidence in this Satanic bald-faced attack points directly to U.S. governmental involvement. And no one can handle that kind of truth. You don’t fix that much sedition and treason with an election.

If we had a country truly worth saving, DC would be in flames by now, and Guantanamo would be visible from space. But we don’t, and it isn’t.

A resurgent America, if there is to be one, will be in another time, and in another place.

I pray for the family.

Yes, Donald Trump is a very compassionate man. Click the link to read about a boy that needed medical treatment and the airlines would not fly him due to his illness. Trump used his personal aircraft to fly the child. This was long before Trump was in politics. The cost to the family was zero. Trump is a good man.

Touching story! Wish more people knew about the real Donald Trump. He’d win 40+ states.
