A much-anticipated debate between Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz appears to be on as both vice presidential candidates have agreed to CBS’s proposal for an Oct. 1 face-off.

Vance is soooooo good off the cuff....and has an extraordinary memory. He’ll clobber Walz...but in a friendly way.

CNN is far from a neutral setting for a debate.
Here’s a question. Trump wins and DeWine picks an unacceptable successor to the senators seat. As a result Vance declines to take the VP job and Trump goes with someone like DeSantis. Vance will always be out there ready to correct the GOP when it strays. What does it buy us? 1) It confuses and angers the left at the same time. 2) It proves that the left is empty and all we need is someone who clearly explains our case. 3) The rats are more scared of an accomplished Governor in ‘28-4 years to wet their pants.

Vance is more than ready. Just look at his press conferences. He’s getting the practice needed. Walz, like Harris is in hiding.

Except in at least seven states, early voting begins in September, and as a result, many voters will cast their votes before the debate based upon media propaganda. In fact, two of the most crucial states for Trump/Vance are PA and VA, where in-person absentee voting begins on September 16th and September 20th, respectively. The other states with September absentee voting are IL, MN, MS, MO, and SD.
True, however Vance is more intelligent than anyone employed by CNN. It also should be noted that the VP pick in Walz will bring down already the worst ‘pick’ in modern times. What a long wait this is gonna be!
JD could take down Walz *and* CNN’s hacks with, as Rush used to say, half his brain tied behind his back.
Walz will likely decline the CNN debate. It’s too early. By Oct 1, half the Dem voters will already have voted... twice or more.
Is it possible for Kamala to have her running mate debate but not do so herself? In a rational world? - no. In today’s world? - absolutely.
Ummm. So do the Vance electors whose votes are certified, as chance would have it once again on January 6, get any sort of consolation . I think it’s fair to say you’re overthinking this thing

No VP debate has ever really mattered in the grand scheme of things, but it should be fun to see Vance hammer this guy for the military stolen valor stuff.
