German prosecutors have issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian man over the 2022 sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, German media reported Wednesday, with Polish prosecutors confirming they had received the warrant.

In the two years since the mysterious explosions hit the pipelines, speculation has been rife around who was responsible with Ukraine and Russia both vehemently denying any involvement.

But German media reported on Wednesday that a European arrest warrant had been requested for a Ukrainian man, a diving instructor whose last known address was in Poland.

The Polish prosecutor's office told AFP it had received the warrant for a man named as "Volodymyr Z." in June "in connection with proceedings against him in Germany."

When Britain bombed the GM factories in Nazi Germany was that a crime against the USA?

Still fair game in war. Russian property is Russian property, whether or not other people have a minority interest.

The Russians certainly dont care if the Ukrainian private property they destroy is owned by foreign investors.

So the CIA was lying when they said Putin did it.

It was obvious from the beginning, that anyone who said the Russians blew up their own pipeline was lying, delusional, and/or dumb as a rock.

Germany was at war with Great Britain. Did the U.S. even maintain any control over those assets at that point?

Germany is not at war with Russia. It should probably be at war with Ukraine.

Russian property is Russian property, whether or not other people have a minority interest.

It's not just that "other people have a minority interest." It's that other people are the beneficiaries of the asset that has been destroyed.

Well, I can still hear all those Aholes who have been claiming that Russia blew up their own pipeline.

Any owner is the beneficiary of his interest in property.

And so?

This is war. There are rules, and this has been thoroughly thrashed out over hundreds of years. If neutral cargos are in a combatant nations ship that is sunk or seized, rightly, then it is up to the courts to allocate liability.

In this case that will be an interesting question.

Looking broader, considering the economic damage the Russians have inflicted on Ukraine, any liability claims by western investors, should they be taken seriously, will be dwarfed by Russian liabilities to Ukrainians and western investors in Ukraine. It will end up, ultimately, being an adjustment on the Russians tab.

Control, no, but ownership, yes. And even if the property had been seized.

My great grandpa had war claims against Japan, which were adjudicated after the war, for property that was destroyed by the US after it had been seized by the Japanese.

Sweden ruled it a gov’mt/war related incident — so no insurance claim.

“ Still fair game in war.”
*************************

Minor technical detail…. the United States is NOT at war with Russia. Not that that matters to globalists and Zeepers.

But it turns out it was Ukrainians, and they ARE at war.

Albeit at the moment with a “Mission:Impossible” type of “deniable” status.

When the war is over someone will write a book on the Nordstream mission and there will be medals all around.

I don’t think you understand what happened with the Nord Stream pipeline, and why Germany is all bent out of shape over it. I’m not talking about the financial side of it, but the geopolitical one.

This was a case of the U.S. destroying the pipeline against the will of the Germans.

“Whats so holy about a Russian pipeline?”

Nothing, it’s fair in war but your crowd didn’t have to lie to us about the Russians blowing up their own pipeline. it was another ploy to get NATO into the war.

But you may have noticed, my money was always on the Ukrainians. I even looked into what it would take to do this on the cheap, and showed it was feasible. And posted it on FR. And it turns out that’s exactly what they did.

That’s why I am dancing around with joy and vindication, and putting up Christmas streamers. Yes, other members of the household look at me funny, but that’s nothing new.

“That’s why I am dancing around with joy and vindication”

You would have had more if Ukraine’s lies worked and NATO got into the war.
