Good!
Hope he wins.
Good. That’s the only thing that will get their attention.
The US Gov doesn’t care about legality, Illegality, or constitutionality. Money, on the other hand…
Is there a limit to the amount he can sue for?
Cause 100 mil doesn’t seem like enough.
Justice would be nice for a change.
no matter how you cut it....the government did wrong....these raids...how come only Trump people get raided...Hillary had documents...Biden had documents....
Can he find out how far up the chain it goes?
Excellent
The people behind the raid will just laugh. It is not their money.
It’s about bloody time!
Weaponizing the branches of government and the biased manipulative corporate media is the true threat to democracy. Not anything Trump tweeted.
The only problem I have with this is we taxpayers get stuck with the bill.
The Aholes responsible get away with it.
No pain to them, that is what has to change
or they never will!
I need to propose a solution, so I don’t appear to be just bitching, So
I propose anybody in any government position of power be subject to something like the Military UCMJ.
It isn’t perfect, but you always consider every action you do to be subject to scrutiny.
Please, oh Lord, let me be on that jury!
IMHO,
The fine should be commensurate with the political damage and damage to American’s voting. That’s a tough number to come up with, but in general, that’s has to be upward of 15 billion. Since the Government combined with the DNC and political opponents, it’s violated it’s own racketeering statutes. That means Trump should be eligible for 12 times the damages, or about 130 Billion.
That might get the attention of the Taxpayer.
I was thinking $475M would be appropriate.
If he wins, the taxpayers will be on the hook for the payment. A better outcome would be to fire everyone involved and take away their pensions. That would save taxpayer money.
They need to emphasize the FBI’s request to use “deadly physical force” during the raid if the need arose. If they had to ask permission to use it, then it wasn’t standard procedure for other raids, and was only requested for this specific raid.
The downside of suing Uncle Sam is that the taxpayer pays the costs of the whole thing.
