Robin needs to walk in the shoes of someone she no doubt admires, namely Britney Griner.
It took 10 months in a Russian Gulag but Britney’s apparently come around as demonstrated at the olympics where he/she stood his/her ass up straight with his/her hand over his/her heart. All of a sudden, Britney is IN LOVE with America............like the rest of us.
Robin needs about 10 months in the same cell Griner occupied. Like millions of Vets, including this one, I guarantee she would then sing a different tune regarding the #2 traitor and slime ball of our time, John Kerry. Jane Fonda being #1.
Robin needs to be asking the guy who had to take over Walz’s slot what HE thinks about what Walz did.
These NG groups aren’t like regular Active Duty units. They’ve been at it for decades with each other, meeting up, training, and deploying when called. There’s also a closeness with the surrounding community around where they serve and when they come from.
I remember our guard coming home as a unit. The fire department rolled out the big ladder rigs and hung welcome banners between them on the I575 over pass where they’d leave I575. People wait hours for them to land, get through ATL and get there. You just don’t walk away from that without a word just because you got a shot at a gig in Congress, IMO.

Also, it’s rather ironic that in 2004, the Dems lauded Kerry, a reporter in a combat zone, and criticized Bush for being in the NG. Now that Vance was the reporter in a combat zone and Tampon Tim was in the NG (as knit not when it counted), they changed their minds…with no acknowledgment of that fact, let alone an apology to Bush.
Kerry also got a purple heart because the got a splinter in his arm when he threw the grenade into the rice. The medic put a bandage on it. Self inflicted. Medic said it didn’t deserve a purple heart because no enemy was involved and it was such a small wound.
Walz did it himself.
Kerry also filed the report on the incident and claimed he was under fire, put himself in for the medal.
