What a summer it has been: an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, the incumbent ending his re-election bid, and Vice President Kamala Harris anointed to the Democrat throne. Indeed, there has been no shortage of storylines in the world of politics. And yet, despite the political theater that has demanded an extra-large bag of buttery popcorn and amazed everyone, from observers in the front row to voters in the peanut gallery, polling data suggest that it is – and always will be – the economy, stupid.
A plethora of 2024 election polls insinuate that the Harris-Trump race is tight. An NPR/PBS/Marist poll gives the vice president a three-point advantage. A Rasmussen Reports survey shows the Republican nominee enjoying a five-point lead. The Real Clear Politics average highlights a contest too close to call. But the latest snapshot of the presidential fight illustrates that Trump maintains a sizable lead on the top issue of the current election cycle: the economy.
According to the recent CNBC All-America Economic Survey, the former president possesses a commanding lead among voters on vital economic subjects, though he holds just a two-point lead in a head-to-head matchup for the Oval Office. Americans, by a ratio of two-to-one, think they will be financially better off under Trump. This includes 79% of Republicans and 31% of independents. By comparison, 48% of Democrats and 10% of independents believe their wallets will be in a better position under a Harris presidency.

PLEASE KEEP HAMMERING AWAY AT THE ISSUES THAT PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED AND UPSET ABOUT. Crime, Illegal immigrants brought in by Kamala/Biden and the democrat leadership, GROCERY PRICES, good jobs, gas prices, world war.
Don't let them trap you in silly arguments like crowd sizes at rallies. Keep hammering at the issues that democrats don't want to talk about.
The bigger issue is stupid people, not the economy. They do what the TV tells them to do.
I still think there is a sizable amount of people who will vote Trump, but will dare not tell anyone, because of the crap they’d get from others. This includes telling pollsters.
Trump being ahead on these vital economic issues shows the truth as to how they’ll vote, though.
They say they don’t like Trump out loud but will vote for him in private.
There are far fewer—if any—people who say they like Trump but will vote Harris.
This election is about race and nothing else.

Also don’t let the media pukes gaslight that she’s winning she’s not this is exactly what they did with Hillary around this time! Expect the polls to have her winning until the very last day before voting day! Trump is never gonna get a fair shake. Don’t you dare fall for their gaslighting and lies! Fight fight fight! And if you live in one of those crucial states get your asses up and start registering voters at city Park events at the farmers market in front of grocery stores anywhere there’s people. Soccer games football games at the park get yourself a few friends and go do it please. Our nation is at stake here. If you live in Pennsylvania Wisconsin Michigan Arizona Nevada Utah North Carolina Oklahoma Georgia etc. etc. get your asses up and do something! Sitting in front of the computer and complaining ain’t gonna cut it …donating money is not gonna cut it either. It’s gonna have to take boots on the ground! For the first time I will become a poll watcher in my precinct or wherever the RNC needs me for the election. This is my way of trying to help a little bit but it’s better than nothing!! Whenever I go to restaurants I speak to the waitresses and waiters and they all agree! They really like the no tax on tips. Talk to a waitress yesterday I told her about what Trump was supporting if he gets elected and she totally agreed and in a low voice she said I’m voting for him he’s a better choice. If America is to survive we MUST get this man across the finish line! Our freaking freedoms and future are at stake here!

Indeed. Is Biden still even alive? In a permanent coma? What is it? Where is he? She isn’t even running for President directly. She’s letting Walz go out and attack and lie. She won’t do press conferences or events where she has to answer to the people. WHO IS ACTUALLY IN CHARGE?
The economy is important, but it’s not the only issue. There’s crime, fighting the wrong war, education, the war on merit, medical care, and the transgenderization of kids.
