* The 8th Circuit officially blocked the SAVE student-loan repayment plan in its entirety.

* It replaces its temporary stay on the plan from July, which paused cheaper payments and debt relief.

* Enrolled borrowers will likely be in limbo for long as the legal process progresses.

Good to see the courts doing something right. Cancelling student debt has to be done by congress.

In the case of your being at her rallies, what you should be asking her is how come she let Biden remain in office and screw up the forbearances of the loans when he is clearly demented.

Why did she not instead proceed with the 25th Amendment, get him removed and then show the world how much better she could have done.... ha ha.... :0)

She picked such a winner running mate, it’s a sure enough cinch she could have knocked that loan stuff out of the way in an afternoon.... /s

College is a scam. Unless you’re smart enough to get a degree in something like physics or chemistry, skip it.

Make the colleges and universities refund them some of the money. They could pay for it by laying off all the worthless diversity positions and ethnic, women study departments.

I read an article some time ago that did an analysis of who was getting debt relief. It was largely upper class and their “soft” degrees rather than lower classes and their STEM degrees. The article concluded that the bailout was a political stipend to keep the activists active on campus.

“Pay your bills, like the rest of us did!”

Yep, disgusting vote buying scheme that no doubt 99% of the debtors are all in for. A vast majority of these deadbeats had co-signers, everyone is off the hook in the RATS / Biden’s demented marxist world. Never a peep from these scumbags that if anyone should pay down these loans (probably not) it would be the Colleges with hundreds of billions in endowments.

Striking down this law to forgive debt is the only right thing to do. Passing it would have set a really dangerous legal precedent. Every borrower in the country would be expecting to have their debt forgiven as well.

The problem is that the long-term "borrowers" (from funds established by "savers") are paying back with increasingly cheaper dollars than the ones they spent. They will never, ever pay back the full value.

This outcome outcome not only discourages people from saving to invest, but simultaneously entices the irresponsible to borrow and spend even more, thus fueling the demand pressure and consequential inflatiom.

We live in a sinking economy in which the borrowers" are really only emboldened undisciplined thieves.
