Walz pick leaves Haley Republicans homeless
Washington Examiner ^ | 8/7/24 | Salena Zito

On Tuesday, former Republicans whose distaste for conservative populism has landed them in the Never Trump category — and were looking for a place to land with Kamala Harris — were left homeless once again when she went far to the left by selecting Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as a running mate.

On social media, Matt Lewis, podcaster and author of Too Dumb to Fail, posted gloomily, “If you were a Never Trump conservative who was hoping to rationalize a vote for the Dem ticket (a short-term alliance) it just got harder.”

Charlie Sykes, a former Milwaukee conservative radio host and current MSNBC contributor, who also falls in the Never Trump category, said on Morning Joe that he was “disappointed,” saying he “thought that [Pennsylvania Gov.] Josh Shapiro was the more obvious choice” and that Harris’s task should have been to reach out with a pick that could attract moderate voters.

Poor, poor pantywaists. They REALLY like it when Democrats make it easy for them.

But rest assured, though it'll be hard, they'll hold their noses and vote for...the Democrat.

Because pantywaist "Republicans" ARE Democrats.

Charlie Sykes = Paul Ryan

That’s all you need to know. Traitors both of them. *spit* Good riddance.

They are acting like Haley’s following was such a massive throng of voters it’s a wonder she didn’t win the nomination. It’s nice for our enemies to be telling us the way to think and the way they think it is. All the while, they can’t show you a single regular Democrat voter who cast a ballot of Harris. /s

The “Haley Republicans” need to heed the endorsement their leader made at the GOP convention.

The NeverTrumpers are all hoping once Trump leaves the political stage in 2028 MAGA will fade away and they will retake the GOP. Other than having the backing of the donor class they don’t have very much support among the grassroots of the party.

Don’t worry, they’ll find a way to justify it.
And they will claim to be principled.
Then they will whine about how bad things get.

Without MAGA, the GOP will remain a dead party. They have nothing to offer but some tax breaks for rich buddies, and more war.

People can get that by voting democrat.

Haley endorsed Trump at the convention.

I didn't watch it, so buyer beware.

Exactly. Trump completed what Reagan started. He brought the Republican Party from Wall Street to Main Street. The GOP today is a conservative, populist political party largely composed of working class Americans. It’s what the elite, internationalist RINOS never wanted to see happen.

I don’t understand. Walz and Harris are both extreme leftists. Were they really hoping the Democrat Party politburo would pick Nikki to be on the ticket?

So folks with a distaste for any sort of political or moral philosophy the considers the greater good have no political home. The Bush Cheneys of this world, and their nihilistic sociopathic hangers on and enablers like Dade Phelan, are left out and we are supposed to feel sorry for their corurpt soulless asses.

Haley republicans

Is that even a thing? I thought it was like .5% of the voting public or something. Pedophelia is more popular than these lost souls.
