'People Are Strange' by The Doors
...although it got an 80s vibe added to it when it was used in the 1980s move "The Lost Boys".

Absolutely!
And Inna Godda Da Vida and anything from Zappa, Johnny Horton and Johnny Cash during the 60s. Way too broad a question with thousands of good answers.

'Born To Be Wild' by Steppenwolf
...although like The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, and Led Zeppelin, their sound was more timeless than the 60s.
'Born To Be Wild' could easily be a 70s song too.

At 1:52 it is one of the shortest, if not THE shortest, song to make the top 10.
