Ukraine was NOT a disaster before Putin invaded. And Zelensky did not kill his own soldiers and he did not bomb his own infrastructure. Putin was looking for an excuse to invade and he formulate one about NATO getting close to Russia's borders. You side with Putin, but, it's alright. Go on hating neocons, who had nothing to do with Putin's invasion You can also hate Zeepers, which is an invented term for hating on those that support Ukraine. BTW, I don't support Zelensky and I don't support Putin either. I support the people of Ukraine and their right to have a free and independent country. No excuses by Putin can ever change the fact that, he was just looking for a reason to take back Ukraine into a Russian Federation, equivalent to his old USSR.

A foreign war is what Putin is waging against a free and independent country. But, you don't hate that?

bobby, do read historical facts for the past 16 years:

Putin in the early 2000s was making noises that he wanted the USSR back together, that he didn't consider Ukraine a "legitimate country" etc. etc.
Ukraine applied to join NATO in 2008 alongside Georgia
France and Germany rejected this request "for fear of provoking Putin"
six weeks after the rejection by NATO, Putin invaded Georgia -- arguably he would NOT have invaded Georgia if Georgia's request to join NATO had been accepted by France and Germany
fast forward to 2014 - Ukraine has not re-applied to join NATO, but Putin sends in his troops and grabs Crimea AND the Donetsk and Luhansk peoples' republics
Ukraine now clearly see's that it can only survive if it is in a defensive alliance - just as Estonia, Latvia etc. did in 2004 and Finland saw in 2023

Putin's threats are what has pushed his neighbors to join NATO.
