On Twitter a while back. as an attempt at satire, somebody posted a fake page from Hillbilly Elegy in which JD Vance supposedly spoke of having sex with a couch when he was young. Another attempt to attack rural Americans as inbred idiots.
After Vance emerged as the nominee the Left - having zero ability to recognize satire - have picked up the Tweet and run with it as if it were gospel truth. Walz is just the latest to try to reinforce it in the minds of his idiot base without actually quoting it. thereby keeping himself from a slander lawsuit.
