STURGIS, South Dakota — A growing online political movement is trying to enlist Sturgis Motorcycle Rally attendees into pressuring Harley-Davidson to fire its chief executive for supporting climate change policies and diversity and inclusive programs.
The movement is led by Robby Starbuck, a popular online conservative activist who targets companies over policies and practices he considers part of a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) progressive agenda.
“Bikers @SturgisRally are going to be spreading the word about this,” Starbuck posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday. “Harley is hoping this all blows over. Are y’all ready to give up or make your voices heard?”

Harley-Davidson might never recover if it tries to change its image to appeal to the LBGTQ community. There is no (I repeat, “NO”) group of consumers that would be more insulted by this than loyal Harley riders.

Hate to say this to a few who will cry in anger but the HD crowd has always been a woke crowd, accepting of Dykes on Bikes and other crap. They have always been the anti-social types.
It’s really not about ‘harley’. It’s the image. Another company will make a bike, promote the image, and these guys will flock to them. They are not sissies. This is going to be worse than budlight.
You must not know any bikers. Being from Wisconsin, they’re all over. Just like in the news, the weird ones get the attention.
Wonder how many Nazi insignias will be at the rally this year? I was driving along route 7 in northern VA last month and saw a fat Harley rider with a big SS bolt sticker on his helmet. All these wanna-be losers can rot for all I care.

I’ve been riding a Harley for 50 years. I am Female, Straight, Conservative, and Christian.
A number of years ago, I heard about a Run to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. I went, thinking it would be like other runs I have done for The Ronald McDonald House, MD, Rolling Thunder, etc.
Boy, was I mistaken. It was all lesbians on Japanese Bikes. I didn’t fit in at all and veered off early in the run.
(They were wearing COLORS too...I guess there are some les clubs, but they are NOT Harley riders.)
Now, Rolling Thunder was MOSTLY Harley Riders. Black, White, Liberal, Conservative, Male, Female(real ones), and so on. Attitudes were checked at the door to honor our Vets.
This is even more stupid than the BUD LITE fiasco. Talk about NOT knowing your core audience!
