Former Obama adviser David Axelrod said Saturday on CNN’s “Newsroom Live” that there was a lot of “irrational exuberance” on the Democratic side of the aisle over Kamala Harris’ candidacy.
Axelrod said, “His whole message has been built for two years now around strength. He’s strong. He’s the guy who can handle these problems, and so on, and now he’s got a younger and more agile opponent when it comes to debating, and he doesn’t want to debate. I don’t know that it’s a great look for him. I do think at the end of the day, he may feel he has to debate.”

Either this is an old quote from Axelrod, or he is spinning fake news. Trump agreed to a debate with Kamala.
At best, I think we’re back to the 47% that will vote D no matter what. Before, there were some D’s jumping ship.
She still sucks (no pun intended), but she’s their hope.
So now we have the two narratives Trump is ducking the debate - BS Trump attacked Harris’s race- BS.
Belief that Willie Brown’s Mattress could be a legitimate president *is* irrational.
They dont have long to hide it. She is ahead in 7 of the latest polls and almost all battleground states.
They sure got their talking points out.
It is irrational because it is fake, created by the media out of whole cloth. After a while, as Harris increasingly shows her true unlikable and incompetent self, it will begin to ring hollower and hollower.
It’s like when two guys are chased through the jungle relentlessly and are about to be caught and they come to a cliff overlooking a waterfall and rocks two hundred feet down.
“We can do it!” “yeah, we can...” Can we? The pursuers close the gap and one finally pushes the other over the cliff to the rocks below....... Here we go!!!”
She’ll get slammed in a debate, or something else like blathering on like an idiot one too man times for something and ratings will fall. And she’ll lose. Meanwhile MSM will blame, divert and then start right in on Trump like there was no yesterday. And the rest of the Democrats that still want to be elected, maybe to President someday, will say “yeah, there was something fundamentally wrong there..”

Never mind that Trump wanted to wait until the desperately scrambling Democrats actually formally selected a candidate (if that’s what you can call their “process”) to agree to a debate. Immediately after that was done, Trump agreed.

The media is going to keep her hidden til November and God forbid she wins, then she will come out and say her TRUE AGENDA, and if anyone questions her she can say “Well did you ever hear ME say that I wont do those things, those were my campaign staff who said that I changed my positions, not me”
