Fox News’s Harris Faulkner criticized ABC’s Rachel Scott for causing an “emotional” start to former President Trump’s interview at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention on Wednesday.
Faulkner said the moderators should have welcomed Trump on stage and acknowledged that just weeks prior he had undergone an assassination attempt.
Scott opened the question-and-answer session with Trump by citing his past comments about Black people, asking him why Black voters should trust him. Trump shot back and said he didn’t think he’d ever been asked a question “in such a horrible manner.”
“He walks out onstage and not a greeting to acknowledge it’s been 18 days at that point since you survived an assassination attempt. We’re going to ask you tough questions, but Mr. President, welcome and we’re glad you’re still here,” Faulkner said.

Hopefully this is a career limiting move by the ABC reporter. Trump could refuse to go one their network, including his administration until she is fired. Time to play hardball.

Scott was making all these statements ( accusations) before she even got to a question.

You’ve caller white people low energy, liars, thugs and claimed they are treasonous and in times past they would have been hung. See how adding their race makes it a thing. Trump did in fact call a black person a bad name. That person tried to take all of his assets. Could the fact that she tried to take all of his assets be a contributing factor? Of course but she doesn’t mention it. The only thing she thinks is relevant is her raise. That is how fake news and false narratives are made. These people make me sick!
Scott in all probability was reading from a script provided to her by her masters.
Exactly. As I watched it, I marveled at the gall of the woman, scolding and lecturing a President of the United States because he dared to criticize someone of her race. It didn’t seem to occur to her that his comments might have been true and deserved. Does she think blacks are, or should be, above criticism? What’s more racist than that?
I am so happy Harris said this! Classy lady. The best, and Trump knows it.
Trump had nothing mean to say to the one in the middle even though she asked some tough questions.
The first one was a total ABC loser.
They delayed the beginning to make Trump look bad, and they subverted Harris’ mike so Trump couldn’t hear her.
I was also pleased to see that no one in the audience applauded or booed in unison with the repugnant first reporter, if that’s what you want to call her.
IF ASKING TRUMP ABOUT THINGS HE SAID IN THE PAST IS FAIR GAME THEN IT SHOULD BE FOR KAMALA ALSO.
If isn’t race or abortion the left has not one issue to talk about they love to drag around old luggage so they won’t have to face facts.

There have been stories of the social media posts of people on the Left being unhappy Trump survived the attempt. Sick.
Probably a lot of that ABC News woman’s associates would feel like that but not express it to the public. Living in the bubble.
They feel entitled to bring down Trump.
