Former President Donald Trump has a two-point lead nationally over Vice President Kamala Harris — the same margin by which he led President Joe Biden before the debate — according to a McLaughlin & Associates survey, published Wednesday.
The poll finds Trump leading with 47 percent support to Harris’s 45 percent among 1,000 likely voters. Another eight percent of respondents are undecided. Trump’s two-point edge is identical to the margin by which he led Biden in McLaughlin & Associates’ June poll, conducted in the lead-up to the fateful debate that marked the demise of Biden’s political career.

Most of the recent polling that scared Freepers and others were of “Registered Voters” only. Meaningless polls, performed only to show an artificial bump. There was a bump, but it is temporary and non-lethal.

I think Kamala will do okay until she has to debate. She’s unlikable and doesn’t have any platform besides abortions
I think the RCP average is instructive. Biden dropped out on July 21 and was at 44.6 in the RCP. Two weeks on nonstop Kamala coverage has her at 46.4. Has she increased? Yes, but it’s less than 2 points. Trump was at 47.9 and is now at 47.8. We’ve also had many leftwing pollsters doing their best to boost Kamala such as DailyKos, Reuters and Morning Consult. All in all, Trump is doing just fine.
The Presidential campaign does not actually begin until Labor Day.

This being the case, if she continues to plummet, are the dems convinced to stay the course? Or do we think they’re just killing time until the REAL candidate comes in at the convention?
