A viral video that one of the attendees of former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, filmed shows an individual running across a roof — the same roof Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump from — minutes before the tragedy, which claimed the life of one attendee and injured three others, including Trump.
Fox News first obtained the video — which James Copenhaver, one of the victims injured at the July 13 rally, filmed. In the video, an individual can be seen scurrying across the roof where Crooks later took the shots. According to Fox News, the video was taken at 6:08 p.m. If that is accurate, this occurred about three minutes before Crooks opened fire on Trump.

Copenhaver was critically wounded after being shot twice and is currently in a rehabilitation center, according to attorney Joseph Feldman at the Law Offices of Max C. Feldman. The lawyer told the outlet that Copenhaver “had almost seen or heard something whiz past him, which we’re assuming was a bullet.”
“He felt it on his arm, and he looked down at his arm…and felt pain initially, but he hadn’t even realized he had been shot a second time at that point. It could have been shock,” he added.
This unearthed video comes as the U.S. Secret Service continues to face congressional grillings after being unable to provide adequate answers to obvious questions about how Crooks was able to get a clear line of sight to the former president that day.
Adding to the unanswered questions is the fact that Crooks was somehow able to fly a drone in the area about two hours before the rally without raising any red flags. It also raises questions about how Secret Service counter-snipers were, supposedly, unable to see Crooks on the other roof.

If I had been there I would think it odd a building, particularly this one, didn’t have anyone on it or the buildings with higher elevation 20 feet behind and it would be stranger not to see anyone on the water tower.
Further, there were cops in the buildings behind him and they couldn’t see him?
Were they preparing powdered donuts for the crime scene?
I’ve seen this video from several sources and I continue to think the key screen grab would be when the shooter is walking upright. Everyone but the SS could see him not bear crawling but fully visible upright. I don’t have a twitter account or know how to get a video screen grab, but I think that would be the one rather than after he takes cover from the roof peak.

Does Butler County PA have a County Attorney? If so, based on Trump choosing to have a rally there, I’m guessing he’s at least nominally a Republican. There’s been a murder committed in his jurisdiction of a well beloved local citizen, two more locals have been seriously injured. And an attempted assassination. The latter may have some preemptive jurisdiction concerns, but the former three? Can’t he/she impanel a local grand jury and investigate the possibility of negligent homicide or some kind of charges based on how poorly SS management intentionally or unintentionally botched this. I’m not an attorney, but there must be some kind of charges possible in that jurisdiction, from which DC powers can’t protect the coverup. We can’t count on Federal, nor PA state, level authorities, but maybe there is a level of government on our side.
There is a helluva lot more to this story. I just watched a below linked video where George Webb is interviewed by Peter Duke. George believes that Crooks was told he would be the spotting team member for a roof sniper. That’s why the rifle was 10 feet from Crooks. Was the guy running on the roof the sniper running to assume a position with Crooks. Or was Crooks already dead? Separately, I believe the general silence from the FBI is that they are monitoring the Internet journalists who are investigating and reporting on the shooting in an effort to try and stay ahead of the traffic and come up with an “official” story they can then peddle to the public. The problem is there are so many unknown cell phone cameras out there that the story keeps changing every day. The Bureau is caught in real conundrum on this one.

Of course there is a DA or county attorney and he ought to be mad as hell. However, George Webb thinks the county sheriff is on on the plot. Webb also suggests Crooks was holding up down on the main floor in the 2 story building until he went onto the roof. It also appears the locals may have been using the lower floor as a CP.
