Kamala Harris blasted after Megan Thee Stallion sings X-rated lyrics at Atlanta rally: ‘Not a serious campaign’

Megan Thee Stallion is under fire for her performance at Kamala Harris’ campaign rally in Atlanta on Tuesday, July 30. The singer was seen performing one of her hit songs featuring X-rated lyrics. Kamala Harris has been blasted too, with netizens saying she is “not a serious candidate.”

Megan performed at the Georgia State Convocation Center, donning a blue pantsuit and tie. She rapped her Grammy award-winning hit, Savage, before an audience comprising an estimated 10,000 people.

The song was released in 2020, and the lyrics include Megan bragging about being “that b-tch.” “P—y like water, I’m unbothered and relaxing,” she is heard rapping. Another line of the song says, “N–gas say I taste like sugar, but ain’t sh-t sweet, ah.”

Megan performed before Harris took the stage. The artist was accompanied by dancers wearing matching attire.

The video of Meghan’s performance is viral, but netizens believe this was not an appropriate performance for the vice president’s campaign. Take a look at the clip:

This reminds me of the 2016 campaign with Hillary. At some point, most, if not all of her appearances, were “Headlined“ by some famous musician to get people in the seats then she would come out afterwards, speak for a short period of time and that was it. With this rally/free concert, I understand she only spoke for about 25 mins.

I didn’t watch the “artist” who opened it, but I would imagine that performance was more than one song lasted a good 10 to 15 mins.

Well yeah. Lookin for the gangsta vote. But, disgusting is as disgusting dose. Why would anyone expect anything else? Vile, crude, no redeeming qualities is the cornerstone of these plantation operators. Keep making’ promises and just enough bait to keep them on the hook.

Don't know, there hasn't been much coverage. NY Post posted an article and called it a campaign event, Megan Thee Stallion opens Harris campaign rally with vulgar performance: ‘Unbothered and relaxing’. An MSNBC link calls it a rally too, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to an energized crowd after Megan Thee Stallion performed in Atlanta at a Harris campaign rally

Harris missed a historic opportunity. In my opinion the best course of action for her would have been to make a deal where they would trigger the 25th Amendment, follow the procedure to remove Biden from office, and for her to be sworn in as the first woman (and bonus points “of color”) President in exchange declaring she would not be seeking the office herself. It would be a win-win for the Democrats as they could cast aside the four years of Biden and allow (the men in the smoky back room) to select the candidate they want and Harris would go down in the history books as the first woman President.

By running herself she became a target where every skeleton in her closet would be brought out to the public. She is not going to win, and her reputation (such as it is) will be ruined.

there’s not a serious D campaign because (as they proved in 2020) they don’t need to bother with campaigning.

Their ETM (Election Theft Machine) can (and will) just manufacture however many fake “votes” are needed to install the D puppets into office.

Its far easier and more certain this way. It worked in 2020 so why stop now?

I have seen the videos. If it was just say, a couple people who left, I could see that being normal. Maybe, they had other scheduled appointments and could only be there for an hour and a half, put the event begin to run behind schedule a bit so they had to leave early, or things of that nature

This wasn’t the case, it was people from every section, leaving very early into her short speech, like five minutes in the rate of people leaving, from the clips I saw, seems to increase as time went on up on about halfway through the speech. It also amazes me that she only was able to speak for 30 minutes. You would think, should be able to speak for good 45 minutes to an hour to list all of her accomplishments and how to do things better, etc. I’m willing to bet it was all “Trump is weird” and “eeeeeevil project 2025”

Aren’t rap lyrics inherently X-rated by default?

No, see post 25 for links to NY Post and MSNBC/X. Not a lot of coverage though, and MSNBC just links to the video on X, nothing critical.
