None of the 36 demographic groups I&I/TIPP regularly tracks was below 60% in describing Hamas as a terrorist group, an unusually strong consensus in a monthly poll that routinely shows big differences in responses, especially by political party.
One other big difference was age. 94% of those over 65 years of age agreed that Hamas is a terrorist organization, compared to 71% of those 18-24 years of age, 62% of those 25-44, and 82% of those 45-64.

I just don’t think many polls or surveys are honest. I believe most people are grounded in reality but the media tends to take the wackos and present them to be mainstream. If you watch the news, you’d think half the country hates Israel. I just never thought that was the case.
It says right there on the poll “Hamas intentionally killed and raped civilians and took hostages”. Who the hell are these “unsure” people that don’t know this is wrong?

All this says is that AIPAC is a very successful lobbying and campaign funding organization.
Well, I’m encouraged that many people recognize them as terrorists, and yet, it should be far more, especially after Oct 7.
How there can be any doubt at this point is beyond me.

I don’t understand the poll. Hamas is terrorist organizaiton, which also became a political party. Being a political party doesn’t change this. The Nazi Party was a political party.
