NYU professor of developmental psychology Niobe Way sat down with ABC News to discuss her book, "Rebels with a Cause: Reimagining Boys, Ourselves, and Our Culture," which explores how society can better raise boys.
Over the years, Way has studied what she refers to as" boy culture" Her book includes case histories and studies that outline the negative impacts on boys when cultures and societies prioritize independence and assertiveness over our inherent abilities to care, listen and rely on one another.

so in her weird little world, only women can be independent and assertive? Does she also expect only women to fight wars from now on?

It’s predictable that she didn’t mention fathers teaching their sons limits of power, or churches teaching them moral philosophy.
“Stop trying to turn them into girls? Just a thought.”
Of course not; I’m sure she thinks girls are supposed to be the independent and assertive ones.

Not a real psychologist, an EdD education major— just like DR Jill Biden. No real research either— just “listening” to kids yammer for several years and opining what she thinks is best— which is pretty much the usual feminist drivel.
I’m quite sure she would attempt to “transition” a boy under here “counseling” care behind the parents’ backs.

At all age groups, “excellent” performance for women is equal to “poor” performance for men.
Let those with wisdom plan accordingly.
Worse ... listening to "urban" kids, which I believe to mean troublemakers being raised by baby-mamas who have rejected their children's fathers.
We had a far better society before psychologist began interjecting their BS. I say, do away with the entire profession which is no better than than what the parents do in a vast majority of children. Sadly, too many male boys do not have a father in the family.
Does she have children?
We tell thin stories about each other that makes it seem as if that's unusual or odd, that they have this soft side. And biologically they're just wired to be different than women and girls.And that's just simply not true. And how I know it's not true from listening to young people for almost four decades, and they just very explicitly say they want relationships.
Take your child and RUN!

Boys are supposed to be confident, rambunctious, adventurous, curious, physical, dangerous in a positive way, active, strong, inventive, competitive...
