President Donald Trump made his first major public appearance Monday at the Republican National Convention after an attempted assassination against him Saturday, entering the arena visibly emotional and with a bandage over his right ear, where he was shot while speaking in Pennsylvania.
A misty-eyed Trump walked into the arena as the crowd applauded him and Lee Greenwood sang his “God Bless the U.S.A.” before Trump took his seat in between his running mate, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, and Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla.
Trump’s two adult sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., were seated behind him, and House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., was seated next to Vance.

He looked to me incredibly calm and peaceful, and sometimes on the verge of tears as he listened to the speakers.
I think President Trump is a man who greatly understands the value of Gratitude.

Seeing Trump brought tears to my eyes..you can see he’s a different man..he’s been through so much..you can even see a few times he is closing his eyes..he is probably on heavy painkillers having any kind of injury on the ear its so so painful its going to take time for this great man to heal, to recover, but he will never forget what happened to him

It tried to make me pay to subscribe, gave me four ‘free’ articles and then flashed through three of them so I couldn’t read about President Trump at the RNC.
No matter how strong he is, nor how composed he appeared after that bullet clipped his ear, some type of post traumatic stress has to surface at sooner or later. That’s what I was thinking while watching him tonight.

I just saw a man who might have been a little tired, but was thoroughly engaged and very appreciative of the proceedings.
