No one wonders if the SS left the roof uncovered on purpose so the shooter could go there.
The Secret Service wants to place blame on the local police authorities for the shooter being there. The bottom line is that the Secret Service is required to work with local law enforcement to make sure that every site has been properly secured and cleared of any potential threat to a President or former President’s life. You don’t simply assume that local law enforcement has all the bases covered without the Secret Service physically going around the whole site, checking the site, side-by-side with those local law enforcement agencies, to make sure the whole area, and the buildings within had been properly scoped-out and completely secured. In the end, it was the Secret Service’s responsibility for making sure that the site was adequately covered by both local cops and their own agents. They either failed miserably through incompetence or did so on purpose.
They’re going to have to stack the Oompa Loompas 2 high to cover all of Trumps six foot fourness.

My question is, after the counter sniper teams saw a threat, a police officer encountered him, people were yelling and screaming about him, why was Trump still on the stage? Why didn’t they get him the hell out of there?
