In 2016. Did you read any further about why Vance changed his mind in 2018 and formally apologized in 2020 and how he and Trump got to be close?
Trump called him out of the blue to say he was doing a good job. Trump said you’ll get all the attacks but no one tells you when you are doing a good job.

Are you talking about Trump? He - like Vance - used to endorse liberal positions. They both matured and moved on.
But if you want to stay stuck in the past - Stay home on election day.
My favorite was Derek Jacoby’s for the BBC plays. He did the full four hours and it was ‘as written’... I think Jacoby brought out aspects of Hamlet that Shakespeare didn’t mean to be obscured so everytime I watch it I see it from a different angle.
I have, although it's been at least a decade since I've been there. If you go to DU, make sure your tetanus inoculation is up to date. Upon return, you'll need to undergo a Level III Decontamination protocol and a regimen of antibiotics for at least a week.
