There is a theory that democrats and "the swamp" have seen the writing on the wall, their final last gasp, the failed assassination backfired in a spectacular fashion. So, they are accepting the inevitable that Trump will be President and are suddenly playing "nicey, nicey" and sweeping all the lawfare under the rug in hope of saving their skins and their jobs when he takes over.
Oh, I'm not for a minute saying they have given up entirely, more a tactical retreat so they can regroup and wait for an opportunity in the future when Trump appears weakened.

To crush your enemies. See them driven before you. And to hear the lamentations of their women.

“””A federal judge in Florida threw out the prosecution of former President Donald Trump on Monday in the “documents” case because she ruled that Special Counsel Jack Smith had not been appointed in a constitutional or lawful manner.”””
Clarence Thomas gave her the ‘green light’ to give Jack Smith the old, heave-ho and she did it. Thank you Judge Cannon.

The case was a sham even before the recent USSC immunity decision.
