There is a theory that democrats and "the swamp" have seen the writing on the wall, their final last gasp, the failed assassination backfired in a spectacular fashion. So, they are accepting the inevitable that Trump will be President and are suddenly playing "nicey, nicey" and sweeping all the lawfare under the rug in hope of saving their skins and their jobs when he takes over.
Oh, I'm not for a minute saying they have given up entirely, more a tactical retreat so they can regroup and wait for an opportunity in the future when Trump appears weakened.

I have yet to hear a democrat playing nicey-nicey. They never rest, and will simply drive on to make Trump’s term as miserable and ineffective as they can.

saving their skins and their jobs when he takes over. I think it's much more than that. After the shooting, I don't see how any sane American doubts that the past four years -- everything that's happened over the past four years -- has been direct action by the Washington establishment and the Democrat party.
They are guilty of treason, plain and simple. And there is a very harsh penalty for that, which they richly deserve.

You can scatter the hyenas, but they’ll come back in the end. It requires constant vigilance, and constant strength.
The fight for freedom is endless.
Now is not a time to celebrate, it’s a time to capitalize on momentum and drive our foes further afield. For ourselves, for future generations.
