Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday he believed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was sincere about wanting to end the war in Ukraine, but that he did not know how Trump planned to do so if elected.
Putin, speaking at a news conference in Kazakhstan at the end of a regional security conference, commented after being asked about Trump's statements that he could end the Ukraine war swiftly if he won the White House race on Nov. 5.
"The fact that Mr Trump, as a presidential candidate, declares that he is ready and wants to stop the war in Ukraine, we take this completely seriously," Putin said.
"I am not, of course, familiar with possible proposals for how he plans to do this. This is the key question. But I have no doubt that he means it sincerely, and we support it (the idea of ending the war)."

Putin is far more intelligent than any Dem candidate.
Putin recognizes a functioning brain.
Trump should ask for a cease-fire his first day in office (he just has to win first).
Putin has an ally in Donald Trump. They are both decent men that keep their word.
I think Trump is sincere in trying to force NATO to meet their obligations, go to a wartime economy and shoulder the bulk of the burden. Right now, only a handful of countries that are not probable targets are below their 2%.
Trump doesn’t have the kind of mentality to lose a war. Trump’s goal is that the US play a smaller role. In this he is mostly already successful. I saw a recent analysis that said given the overall support, not just weapons, that Europe is supply 65% of the overall costs. The US is the bulk supplier of artillery and advanced weapons like ATACMS and Patriot batteries. I don’t think that will change much, although France, Sweden, the UK and Germany have their own systems and will probably ramp them up. All of Europe has increased its defense spending. Several states that are not meeting the two percent have passed legislation and budgets that will not go into effect UNLESS Trump wins. If he wins the plan is to pull the switch on that money. They don’t want to do that as the money will come out of welfare, subsides and pork that gets politicians elected.
This situation is somewhat like the stock market. The current price of a stock often reflects what the traders think is going to happen rather than the actual figures on the books. NATO and other countries are terrified of Russia, and they’ve already begun positioning their military, industry and economies based on the possibility Trump wins. When he actually wins the impact of a potential withdrawal of US support probably won’t be that great. No matter what, the war will continue until one side can’t fight any longer.

“Hello, Zelensky, this is President Trump. You’ve gotten your last dime and bullet. I’ll ensure the Russian negotiate in good faith. Your dumb ass should have accepted Minsk. Goodbye.”

Things are going so badly for Sewer Rooters that they are trying to rehabilitate their credibility by publishing an article in which they Don't purport the ability to read President Putin's mind OR President Trump's mind either.
Suddenly Rooters allows both to say they have not been informed of the other's proposals and thoughts on ending the Ukraine conflict.
I'm sure that President Trump and President Putin can hammer out a cease fire and a lasting and fair peace agreement very quickly if they are allowed to Diplomatically engage on another.
Obviously, I completely distrust Rooters, and I don't believe there's any fixing 'em.
I mean, he keeps his word and protects his country from an expansive NATO who doesn’t keep their word. On top of that, he wants family values in Russia which means no PRIDE MARCHES, no TRANS GENDER this and that, no WOKE taught in schools and in the military, etc. So, I agree with him. He seems an honorable man. If he does business with Trump, I’m sure both will keep their word.

Trump said said during the debate that Putins conditions for ending the war were unacceptable.
Thus, Trump will force Putin to give back what he has stolen.
Trump has always been a Law and Order guy. It’s not his style to reward gangsters and Antifa-like behavior.
Trump will win in November. That will be the end of Putins imperialism and it’s anti-American policies.
