KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine’s army has retreated from a neighborhood in the outskirts of Chasiv Yar, a strategically important town in the eastern Donetsk region that has been reduced to rubble under a monthslong Russian assault, a military spokesperson said Thursday. Chasiv Yar is a short distance west of Bakhmut, which was captured by Russia last year after a bitter 10-month battle. For months, Russian forces have focused on capturing Chasiv Yar, a town which occupies an elevated location. Its fall would put nearby cities in jeopardy, compromise critical Ukrainian supply routes and bring Russia closer to its stated aim of seizing the entire Donetsk region. The Ukrainian army retreated from a northeastern neighborhood in the town, Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesperson for the Khortytsia ground forces formation, told The Associated Press in a written message Thursday.

I’m finding it difficult to laugh and gag at the same time.
(Is that mommy and marcus?)
On the plus side: The 12 members of the Latvian army were easy to train in this matter.
The horror, the horror. What’s next Wildberry with no cap
Take it to The Hague 😂
And here comes another Low IQ’er offering Biden war pablum. Hasn’t this guy embarrassed you yet?
Hello Jon boy
Unlike Ukraine, Russia doesn’t need to draft soldiers
1. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, around 100,000 people signed up as contract soldiers in the first three months of 2024, with about 16,000 joining in just 10 days following the Crocus City Hall attack[1].
2. The Russian military reportedly aims to recruit 745,000 contract soldiers in 2024, as stated by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu[1].
3. In January 2024, Ukraine's Defence Intelligence claimed that about 1,000 people were joining the Russian Armed Forces daily[4].
4. In October 2023, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev reported that 305,000 men had signed military contracts and 80,000 had enlisted as volunteer fighters over a 10-month period[1][5].
5. Medvedev also stated that the recruitment rate had increased to over 1,600 people signing contracts with the Armed Forces daily[5].

Trump was a Democrat for 8 years, from 2001 to 2009, which you will note was during George W. Bush's terms. He was an Independent for a year between 2011-2012, and a member of the Reform Party for two years or less from 1999-2001. The rest of his life he's been a registered Republican for a total of at least 26 years.
If you're going to make a claim, at least make sure you have your facts right. I was a Democrat once too, many years ago, but I was a registered Republican for more than 40 years, until January 6th, when I changed to "no party" because the majority of Republicans in Congress voted to sanction unlimited voter fraud on that date.
Most of your sources are Russian so I take that with a dump truck load of salt
Medvedev, the one who talks about nuking European cities and Ukraine
Apparently you missed the first draft of 300,000 that occurred in 2023.
If they are getting all they need from volunteers within Russia then why are they going around the world recruiting foreigners
I could believe 1000 per day, the money they are offering compared to average wages in civilian workforce would be enticing, but with average loses around 1000 per day, then that is not much of an increase.
I have no idea what the actual numbers are, but I do have an observation.
Russia started this war with a much larger military than Ukraine, and after 2 1/2 years of war they hold less Ukrainian territory than they originally took, their Kherson offensive accomplished little, but at great cost. The fact that they need to recruit this many regardless of how is curious.
Is Ukraine heading for defeat?
Moreover, Ukrainian troops have recently retreated from Chasiv Yar, a strategically important town, whose hilltop position could help Russians to batter the key remaining Ukrainian-controlled cities in the Donetsk region, according to Luke Harding, correspondent for The Guardian."
Cheerleading Russia like a good moscovite as always
Thanks for the update. 2 1/2 years into their invasion and this is “breaking news”
Does wildberry process the Chinese golf carts and motorcycles, asking for a friend
Why are you supporting these people?
For a “high IQ” person like yourself, I would have imagined that policy is not an all or nothing stance.
I support this administration on this policy, though I don’t think they have gone far enough, and I supported xidens signing of PACT act which helped veterans. Should I have been against that since he was for it?
There is nothing else that I can think of that I do so….
Do you support Trump in saying that putins “peace settlement “ is unacceptable?
I notice you picture nadler, where are the pictures of all the republicans who supported aid to Ukraine?
I know your stance(just not sure of your nationality (“literally outside wildberry warehouse”) and you know mine.
The zeeper desperation is pure comical entertainment. 🤡
Just to be clear, after seeing Biden on stage with Trump 10 days ago, you still support his policy?
Thanks for correcting my hazy memory. 😉
I see now that Trump was not a committed Republican between 1999 and 2012, and during the period 1991 to 2009, six of his companies filed for bankruptcy protection.
So, it could easily be that my first hazy memory of Trump happened while he was a Democrat, a playboy and having financial difficulties -- hence the possibly apocryphal story of his wife and the homeless man.
mass55th: "If you're going to make a claim, at least make sure you have your facts right.
I was a Democrat once too, many years ago...."
I've never voted for a Democrat in my life, though must confess to having voted in my very first election, in 1968, for a third-party candidate, as opposed to either Humphrey or Nixon.
Yes, I did it for the 100% valid reason of hoping to impress a lovely young lady with my liberal credentials.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, it didn't work, and I never did that again. 🤣
Zeepers are remarkable; Biden isn’t fit to drive a car, but on matters of war, he gets their full support with the exception that he hasn’t went far enough. Just sit back and laugh 😂
The fact that Trump spent most of his adult life outside of the Republican Party is why he is embraced by the nation.
To be clear policy is not just the person, do I still support the PACT act after xidens performance, yes
Do I support aiding Ukraine after debate, yes
Since Trump does not support pitins “peace plan” . Do you still support Trump?
