How to fund the increased benefits?
Put a federal tax on “unhealthy” food and beverages, and luxury meats [steak, shrimp, crab, lobster, clams, lamb chops & crowns, rib roasts](and eventually anything over $6/pound).
Prohibit the use of SNAP and other programs to buy such taxed foods and beverages so Joe’s lower income voters don’t have to pay more tax.
Think about this; this is how Democrats think:
Jail the people who sell the groceries.
DON’T jail the people who STEAL the groceries that cause the grocers to have to raise prices.
Meanwhile, it looks like they’re starting to go after Team Jill:
