Axios national political correspondent Alex Thompson joins Asking For A Trend to give insight into Biden's debate performance and Dr. Jill Biden's influence on the president.
Thompson points to Jill Biden's active presence in the campaign: "I don't think it's a surprise that at the rally after the debate last night, Jill Biden went on stage and praised him and sort of did this... rally of Trump lies. And then she also introduced him in a North Carolina rally and was just a sort of rousing as him despite the fact that in her past ... she was uncomfortable being a political spouse. But in this version of Jill Biden, she's more like 1990s Hillary Clinton than 1990s Jill Biden."

Not quite. There is a reason the word "Arkancide" entered the lexicon...
One thing seems certain, Jill will not step down from the Presidency.
Jill is far hotter than Hillary ever was.
No, Clinton stood by her man; Jill is propping hers up, dragging him around like a modern-day Weekend at Bernies. It is disgraceful and pathetic. Where are the party elders to say Enough! ?
When Donald Trump is re-elected president, the Secret Service better watch Dr. Jill to make sure she doesn’t set fire to the White House.
One thing seems certain, Jill will not step down from the Presidency.
~~~
That’s their major similarity.
Hillary was never going to leave Bill while he was in the White House, all philandering with interns be damned, because she was all about the power of the office. I don’t know how much Jill loves Joe, but it appears the power is more important.
Agreed. The apt and quite direct comparison is to Edith Wilson
It’s true. Jill is like a Latter Day version of the 1990 Hillary, only less likable, if that’s even possible.
She’s s new version of Ma Barker.
“And then she also introduced him in a North Carolina rally and was just a sort of rousing as him despite the fact that in her past ... she was uncomfortable being a political spouse.”
B.S. If this were true she have told her husband to quit politics in 2008.
Just call her Jillary or even more appropriately Lady MacBiden.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely, especially including family members. Love gets thrown out the window in the pursuit of power.
She can wear a pantsuit better than Hillary I’ll give her that.
Both Jilly and Hilly are obsessed with the almighty $$$. Do not be surprised if President Trump and his Administration find buried deep in the records, a super special mortgage of the White House itself. And it is a Chicom bank that is holding the paper on the White House.
De gustibus non disputandum est.
But Doctor Jill does nothing for me.
Jill Biden thinks she is the co-president. No one elected her but yet she pulls the puppet strings. She is also knee deep in the lawfare attacks against Trump.
This is the primary reason she is scared to “death” of another Trump term. She knows what is coming and is trying everything to prevent that from happening. A 2025 Trump presidency means a very long prison term for her, with possible execution.
Instead of touting Michelle Obama as the “replacement, why aren’t The Powers That Be getting out “Doctor” Jill BIden’s great résumé, as she has essentially been acting President almost from the first day.
Edith Bolling Galt Wilson WAS essentially the President of the United States in the last year of Woodrow Wilson’s last term in office, while the President was lying in a bedroom more incapacitated than even Joe Biden today. She and the attending staff would enter the bedroom, and emerge later with instructions that “The President has stated that (whatever policy was under discussion) this is the decision we shall stand by”. She signed all the documentation and relayed all the messages each way.
Jill could do that. In fact, there is every reason to believe she is doing all that already.
I seriously am starting to think she holds out hope that she’ll be the replacement candidate.
I actually read her doctoral thesis. It was the hack doctoral equivalent of Michelle’s affirmative-action, Princeton senior thesis.
