Former President Trump leads President Joe Biden by six points in the probability of winning the popular vote in November, Nate Silver’s election model forecasted June 30 after the first presidential debate.
The last Republican to win the popular vote was George W. Bush in 2004 with 50.73 percent.
Silver’s election model’s forecast is the first time it predicted Trump would defeat Biden with the popular vote. Trump was previously behind by two points one day before the debate, the forecast predicted.

Welcome news. I could only find the 538 poll yesterday, which indicated that the debate had no significant effect. It was hard to believe, but I didn’t see anything different until today.

MOREOVER—there is no abnormal every state does mail-in votes this time.
In 2020 37 states automatically sent mail in ballots to every voter on the voter rolls (most due to covid).
In 2024, only 9 states do so automatically: California, Hawaii, Colorado, Washington, Vermont, Nevada, Utah Oregon and Utah.
All other states require the voter to request a mail in or absentee ballot.
It’s gonna be much harder to cheat by harvesting ballots in the wild—additionally, many depressed democrats will probably sit out the vote.

There are precincts in Philadelphia alone that could put Biden over the top in the popular vote. Wait’ll Chicago goes into mass production of “votes for Biden”.

I thought that at first and was trolling the leftists with it, then researched it some. The NPVC is not in effect because not enough states have joined yet. It requires at least 270 electoral votes between them all.
