Matching glasses and earring does sound kind of fun....I don’t have that creative flare. I wish I did sometimes....I think it’s why I was so terrible at piano.

I had forgotten the music classes in grade school. Yes I did the flutaphone (can’t recall - is that what it was called?)
In jr high and HS did choir. We had to do one music thing each year either one of many choirs, band or orchestra. I did choir because it involved less after scold practices and performances. My after school time was dancing.
Many years later I wished I had done band - but at the time it was my best option.
As an adult in church i always worked with youth groups. There was always singing.. what I called camp Songs. There was always a guitarist in the group
Until one year there wasn’t.
So I went to a store bought a used guitar and some beginner books . Self taught. Man hard on fingers until they toughened up. My bro was an accomplished guitarist but he was then active duty AIrForce and stationed mostly in Europe, the Mid East and pentagon
I did that for two years and PTL finally a group member was a guitarist. Never did the guitar again.
I gave it to another of the youth and the books
Mary Lou you mentioned you taught guitar and piano. Do you also perform? Now or in past?
A fav group of mine in Ohio - they were friends - was a 5 women rock group. All professionals. Two were organ/pianists at their Catholic Churches. They were both also exceptional performing vocalists

You probably have reading glasses. I have myopia so I needed them for distance.
I wore contact lenses for many years and had one or two back up pair of eyeglasses
when I became more active with bicycling and kayaking in Ohio I found that I needed the protection for my eyes when you kayak you can run into branches - biking bugs or dirt fly in your eyes and the glasses were very helpful
so I wore my contacts less less and less and then finally just never wore them again
AND no I really didn’t dance at laundromat.
It was mobbed. When I got there every machine was used. I waited about 20 minutes for ONE to be avail. ONE.
I had about 6 loads of wash - included large guilt and a my pillow
But it was the Biggest one - $8.50 and I grabbed it and put everything in it. Dark n light. Set it on hot. All came out great! There were others waiting for machines who came after me. so my chance of finding 5 or 6 washers might be hours
Cotton I used the soap you used. Such a nice fragrance

The left will attack both he and Trump with or without true cause
That’s my only regret re a Trump presidency
He’ll be continually attacked - lawfare or otherwise
His challenge to correct Biden’s mess is overwhelming WITH full support but with continual regular distractions and attacks his life will be difficult.
He’s strong and has God on his side. We can all just pray for ways to help him
The recent elections in England and France will find two former allies now NOT in our corner
