So basically, what I’m learning, is that we cannot expect any agencies to provide security. If we see a civilian or someone about to take a pot shot like on Saturday night, we, civilians, must take action ourselves. We can’t just “alert the authorities.”

I’m taking a more positive look at things.
I’m thinking that Vivek may have more influence if he is on board in the WH, steering policy and advising. He’s a friend of Vance’s, and the Trump family, so I’m thinking they will be working to fulfill whatever he wanted as VP.
Let’s face it, Vivek is saying all of the right things, but none of us know anything about how Vivek or Vance will perform for 4 years. They’re both unknowns, at this point. I think it’s going to work out just fine.
