Russia presses its offensive in Ukraine and issues new threats as the West tries to blunt the push

Slowly but steadily this summer, Russian troops are forging through Ukraine’s outgunned and undermanned defenses in a relentless onslaught, prompting the West to push for new weapons and strategies to shore up Kyiv.

Russia took advantage of its edge in firepower amid delays in U.S. aid to scale up attacks in several areas along the 1,000-kilometer (600-mile) front. Relatively small units are probing Ukrainian defenses for weak spots, potentially setting the stage for a more ambitious push.

Meanwhile, Russia has made incremental but steady advances in the Donetsk region, including around the strategic hilltop town of Chasiv Yar, a gateway to parts of Donetsk still under Ukrainian control. Analysts say the fall of Chasiv Yar would threaten the key military hubs of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.

Stop the Ukrainian Meatgrinder?
The only practicable way to avoid another near-one million dead and wounded would be a settlement, however unpopular.

Russia routinely leaves large numbers of their dead to rot on the battlefield.

(Video)”Ukraine. Summer 2024. June. The(Russian) corpses have already decomposed. How can we identify them? By badge? By DNA? All our brothers died. When will they be buried?” — the orc shows a large number of his destroyed comrades. He laments that the corpses are not taken away and they rot in the fields.

Your claim is that we Americans and Ukraine teamed up to carry out a terror attack on the civilians on that beach and that “That terror attack has been condemned by nations across the globe.”

What nations are backing up your description?

LOL! The irony! The irony!

That you believe the lies of the Kremlin propaganda organs!

I guess you believed Putrid too when he lied that his troops building up on the Ukrainian border were just on maneuvers and would not invade Ukraine.

Try to keep up.

Russians do not think like Americans or Europeans. They are different as are Chinese, North Koreans etc... They are not an easy foe to battle. The war will be over by November 5th.

Nope. The Putrid has lots more ammo and Putrid is alive and kicking. And Putrid has plenty of cannon fodder left and back up troops to kill any of the cannon fodder that tries to retreat from his ordered suicidal charges into Ukrainian fortified positions.

BTW here are 180 Russian dead left to rot on the battlefield in Putrids Meat Grinder Marathon filmed by a Ukrainian recon drone. https://x.com/i/status/1805531759884259359

“Full video of confirmed 180 enemy losses from soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade. The first to show such a video of the eliminated occupiers were the soldiers of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade; now the “meat grinder” marathon is being continued by the soldiers of the 1st assault battalion from their area of responsibility. All of these orcs were killed during the attack on the Borova village, Kharkiv region, during May 12 - June 17, 2024.”

Enjoy!

Something the west has never once stated are the tactics Russia states. That is the destruction of the AFU.

Reading the article... it blames the fiction of a slow down in weapons to Ukraine. The 61B was passed to cover unfunded Ukraine support. After the 61B the EU & US sent billions more, doubling that amount, quietly.

Russia is making a lot of unreported gains before the NATO meeting. It is not reported, period. Ukraine is getting buried, losing 17000 WIA/KIA in the past week thru Thursday. Thursday was over 4400.

It has only been 10 days since the FAB3000 introduction. Ukraine lost two MIG 29s in one incident.

Those Iscander missiles are destroying airfields, depots, troop concentrations, electric generation, and they used 2 yesterday wiping out a battalion of M270 dual HIMARS.

Russia is starting to make large gains of 2-15 km in a variety of sectors. Towns are falling within a week of contact... Towns used to hold for months but Ukraine no longer has the manpower or equipment.

Russia has doubled the intensity of bombing and artillery use the two weeks. The causality figures reflect this, and the map is moving with constant advances.

Did anyone notice here at FR that since the debate, the trolls posting Ukraine propaganda seemed to take a break... in part due to Biden admin and Ukraine stoppage of actual Frontline reporting.

Ukraine is a losing issue for the Democrats.

Thursday Ukraine had 4400 casualties alone. In the past four weeks there has only been 5 days of less than 2000 Ukraine soldiers lost.

Keep dreaming.

“...Ukraine is getting buried, losing 17000 WIA/KIA in the past week...”

Which Stalinist source did you get that from? It is complete garbage. In reality land, Russia has problems on all fronts and its economy stinks and has a strong downward momentum. The eleven-time-zone country that is supported by Iran and North Korea is being out-fought by the one-time-zone freedom-loving country. The criminal invasion has cost Russia much more than just a few hundred thousand dead and maimed.

Try Russian Def ministry. They report every 24 hours, Frontline minus deep rear area unconfirmed strikes.

Thus they are low balled.

LOL! Sure

Russia’s meat charge marathon is producing over 4,000 Ukr dead a day? Why have they not broken through the Ukr lines then and advanced dozens of miles into Ukraine. BTW did you hear about the Russian blogger who let slip how many KIAs they lost in their taking Ardikva and then he had to commit suicide? The Kremlin does not like true numbers of their war dead being made public.

I think Russia will prevail. Putrid does not care how many Russians die in Ukraine but will send millions more if he has to. Once Ukraine is conquered then the killing fields will begin in earnest like what happened in Cambodia. Blood debts will need to be paid.

Putin is a Stalin wannabe. He was KGB and was an advisor to the ruthless East German secret police controlled by Moscow so he is no stranger to murdering civilians. Although he will need to murder millions of more Ukrainians to catch up to Stalin

Putin needs to gain as much territory as possible before a Trump presidency forces a settlement.

The Russians are making a push right now. They have until October, before rasputitsa or mud season.

Assuming Trump gets elected, the Russians can make one last push before both sides will have to agree to a ceasefire in early 2025.

Biden only slow-walked aid to Ukraine. Solid conservative Republicans like Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana push real assistance. As Russia returns to Stalinism, its complete incompetence will cause parts of the “federation” to break away.

You have to know that Joe Biden didn't slow walk aid, the military supplies just are not being made fast enough because your hero China Joe Biden the communist DP, and the Free Traitor Repukelicans deindustrialized America. For decades they all told us how great a "service economy" is.

Face it, Russia has out manufactured all of NATO and the U.S.
