This lady was my congress critter for a few terms.
She is half Samoan, who are very loyal, honest and aggressive people.
I have to take her at her word.
The only thing I worry about is she is a Lt.Colonel and officers are notorious for disliking “uncontrolled” guns.
I too, “evolved” regarding the Second Amendment.
I once believed “gun control” was a “States’ Rights” issue until I learned about “incorporation” into the union and what the founders actually meant by reading what they wrote.
Then I found this piece, and couldn’t agree more.
This is how “shall not be infringed” translates into modern language:

IOW, NO “gun law” passes Constitutional scrutiny, ANY “gun law” is an infringement upon the right to keep and bear arms. Says so “in the paper” as former white house resident Bathhouse Barry Soetero Obeyme used to say.

I don’t know enough either way on the Second Amendment regarding Tulsi, but she CLEARLY has the Neocons figured out. In fact, she went to Syria, on her own, as a Congresswoman, in the middle of their war, because she was getting ‘strange’ information from the US regarding that war. And after the trip, she realized that she was being LIED TO by the Deep State here (particularly McCain).
Where this gets interesting is regarding Trump on Ukraine. For the first time, at least in the US, we have a presidential candidate saying it was NATO expansion and planned expansion into Ukraine that triggered the war, as opposed to Putin getting up on the wrong side of the bed 2 years ago and thus deciding to invade Ukraine (Biden’s position). In other words, totally unprovoked.
Someone got to Trump. Could it have been Tulsi, who almost certainly knows that the Biden’s position is total BS? Just about everyone capable of reaching Trump agrees with Biden’s position on the war. But if it was Tulsi, and now with Trump clearly articulating that position - then maybe she will be VP, or at least Secretary of State.
It’s that other thing that troubles me. The “death penalty for inconvenient people” thing. When she evolves on that, hallelujah.
A reminder is in order, just four years ago Gabbard ran for president as a DEMOCRAT. Had she won in the primaries and knocked Oatmeal Brains out she would have gone onto to the Trump vs. Gabbard election. (And of course the rats may have cheated like they did with Xiden.)
I’d crawl over broken and poisonous glass to vote for Trump, with one exception: Putting a dem on the ticket with him. Not worrying though, Trump would know this would be political suicide.
As I have posted many times, are we to believe she has done a 180 in her views stated on her platform, from just a few years ago?
Ban Assault weapons, pay reparations, no limits on abortion, citizenship for Dreamers, ban fossil fuels, ban nuclear energy, end the electoral college?
What’s even close to MAGA there? I need someone to explain to me, how a person changes their mind, just like that?

She became a ‘star’ of the Democrat Party. They offered her wealth and power beyond imagination. She turned them down. She told them they were going the wrong way. Doing the wrong things.
They told her all she had to do was go along. They told her if she didn’t, she would be out of politics. She would be blacklisted. She wouldn’t get the fancy house in DC. She wouldn’t get the millions in stock trading via insider info that they all get.

It was like that. And she said no. She said she would rather live in her small house and find some honest job than throw away her morals for illicit power and wealth.

I once watched her respond to being asked about her view on abortion. It was like watching a snake slither among some twigs. Won’t ever trust her.
