I too, “evolved” regarding the Second Amendment.

I once believed “gun control” was a “States’ Rights” issue until I learned about “incorporation” into the union and what the founders actually meant by reading what they wrote.

Then I found this piece, and couldn’t agree more.

This is how “shall not be infringed” translates into modern language:

“Every man, woman, and responsible child has an unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional, and human right to obtain, own, and carry, openly or concealed, any weapon — rifle, shotgun, handgun, machinegun, anything — any time, any place, without asking anyone’s permission.”

IOW, NO “gun law” passes Constitutional scrutiny, ANY “gun law” is an infringement upon the right to keep and bear arms. Says so “in the paper” as former white house resident Bathhouse Barry Soetero Obeyme used to say.

Our Right’s are God given and I don’t need permission from politicians or courts to exercise them!
