[Tulsi Gabbard podcast where she discusses her evolving and current stand on the Second Amendment]

She is easy on the eyes. So, there’s that.
So was Sarah Palin...didn’t seem to help.
I think a lot of people were red-pilled by the government’s behavior during the covid pandemic.
No Tulsi, ever.
If you’re not a Democrat in Hawaii, you will never get in office. Generally speaking, I think she has good political instincts. I’m prepared to take her at her word that she has come around on gun rights and this coming from someone for whom gun rights is probably my #1 issue.
I think she’d be a great choice for a cabinet position in the next Trump administration. She won’t be the VP pick but like Vivek, she’d be a great choice for the cabinet.
“Having been a Naval Officer, my impression is Naval Officers dislike them the most.”
I have a naval officer cousin, former carrier pilot who flew missions against North Vietnam, who is MOST DEFINITELY not of that persuasion! Of course, like me, that is a previous generation who grew up when America was still America. God only knows what today’s military is producing.
“I don’t trust her.”
Same here. Hawaii bred mind set on guns is not same, as for example, Old Arizona where it’s baked in the blood and genes. Quite the opposite...pure hostility.
I’ll skip General Flynn in any role as he sold out and became a foreign agent. He cannot undo that treason against the US, selling his expertise, experience, and knowledge to a foreign government.
I don’t know enough either way on the Second Amendment regarding Tulsi, but she CLEARLY has the Neocons figured out. In fact, she went to Syria, on her own, as a Congresswoman, in the middle of their war, because she was getting ‘strange’ information from the US regarding that war. And after the trip, she realized that she was being LIED TO by the Deep State here (particularly McCain).
Where this gets interesting is regarding Trump on Ukraine. For the first time, at least in the US, we have a presidential candidate saying it was NATO expansion and planned expansion into Ukraine that triggered the war, as opposed to Putin getting up on the wrong side of the bed 2 years ago and thus deciding to invade Ukraine (Biden’s position). In other words, totally unprovoked.
Someone got to Trump. Could it have been Tulsi, who almost certainly knows that the Biden’s position is total BS? Just about everyone capable of reaching Trump agrees with Biden’s position on the war. But if it was Tulsi, and now with Trump clearly articulating that position - then maybe she will be VP, or at least Secretary of State.

I've been reading up more on her over the past weeks and increasing warming up to her as VP. I have long figured she'd be the perfect candidate for Trump, even if I didn't agree with her, but as I learn more, she really would be a good choice--either as VP or, as you suggest, as Secretary of State. She'd definitely be wasted as Secretary of Defense.
Thanks, I’d been trying to figure out who got to Trump as he totally nailed it regarding Ukraine, to the point that few with access to him, other than Tulsi, could have explained it to him that clearly. With Trump, Tulsi simply confirmed his instincts regarding NATO from the start - that it was an organization better relegated to history. So, assuming Trump does win, I strongly expect a high-level position for Tulsi.
I have a hinky feeling about Tulsi, but have to admit that she comes across as strong, in control, and intelligent.
An interesting debate would be the one between her an Kamala. LOL!
“An interesting debate would be the one between her an Kamala. LOL!”
One can only imagine the ABJECT FEAR the Deep State had with her going to Syria to find out the REAL STORY* there, as their media Gaslighting was otherwise working out perfectly. I can only imagine the threat and ‘friendly advice’ they were giving her to not go to Syria.
I have no doubt that she would be VICIOUS in a debate against Kamala or anyone else.
*The first thing one learns regarding Syria is the ‘Freedom Fighters’ in Syria that McCain/Graham love so much is ISIS, and that’s just the start.
It’s that other thing that troubles me. The “death penalty for inconvenient people” thing. When she evolves on that, hallelujah.
“think she’d be a great choice for a cabinet position in the next Trump administration. She won’t be the VP pick but like Vivek, she’d be a great choice for the cabinet.”
Agree FLT-bird. Was early on the Tulsi train but the more the political landscape has evolved, she cant be a VP choice. JD had slot now.
Deputy sec state or state dep communicator may be a good slot for Tulsi, she is no jingoist. She would make neocons and the rats heads alike explode.
Honestly....I wouldn’t mind her being appointed Secretary of State. She’d root out the Neocons and other corrupt Deep State elements at Foggy Bottom and she is someone who could be taken seriously abroad as not being part of the corrupt Deep State unlike say, Blinken.
Well said my FRiend. I too was a raving liberal having voted on the past for Carter, Jesse Jackson and others. Was all in on liberal causes, but then I grew up and saw the errors of my way. People can change and often do. I welcome Tulsi to the fight. IMHO she would be a good choice for VP. If it isn’t JD Vance, I’ll take Tulsi. Plus, she sure is easy on the eyes.
Sorry, Americans believe in a Creator, not a menagerie of false gods with elephant trunks and nine arms.
Glad you told me she was of that belief system.
That is the final coffin nail in my mind.
EVERYTHING about the US and its laws is based on belief in the Almighty, and the Four Last Things.
A reminder is in order, just four years ago Gabbard ran for president as a DEMOCRAT. Had she won in the primaries and knocked Oatmeal Brains out she would have gone onto to the Trump vs. Gabbard election. (And of course the rats may have cheated like they did with Xiden.)
I’d crawl over broken and poisonous glass to vote for Trump, with one exception: Putting a dem on the ticket with him. Not worrying though, Trump would know this would be political suicide.
