It will be awhile till there’s a US flattop in the Middle East.
Rumors are it was damaged, but it is hard to bring a flat top down.

6-7 months deployed is about the average length for a carrier. According to a couple articles I’ve read she’s been deployed 9 months. The delay in relief not being on station seems to be due to USS Theodore Roosevelt changing homeport first and deploying late next month.
