Polls this week have broadly continued the pattern we've seen over the course of the election campaign, writes BBC senior political analyst Peter Barnes. Labour retain their commanding lead of around 20 points over the Conservatives but both parties have seen their average score drop - with Labour now on 41% and the Conservatives on 21% on the BBC poll tracker. Reform UK's poll average has continued to edge up. They're now at 16% - their highest since 2019, when they were called the Brexit Party. There is some back-and-forth over the positions of the Conservatives and Reform UK. The latest poll from YouGov puts the Conservatives two points above Reform. It comes after their poll last week had Reform one point ahead of the Conservatives.
