China has been buying up strategically placed farmland next to military installations across the US, raising national security fears over potential espionage or even sabotage.
The Post has identified 19 bases across the US from Florida to Hawaii which are in close proximity to land bought up by Chinese entities and could be exploited by spies working for the communist nation.
They include some of the military’s most strategically important bases: Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in Fayetteville, North Carolina; Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) in Killeen, Texas; Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, and MacDill air force base in Tampa, Florida.

It looks like they own a good portion of eastern North Carolina.
I have a friend from college whose family has been in Hawaii since the 1850s. Much like the George Clooney movie “The Descendants.”
Grandad owned a house on Oahu, on the eastern side of Pearl Harbor. They had a Japanese gardener working for them for quite some years.
On December 7, 1941, the gardener disappeared, never to be seen again. At the time, the FBI did their interviews and investigations, but never said what they thought happened to him....
Mr. Creedon used to say, in 7th grade history class, “Possession is 9/10 of the law!”
It’a about all I remember.
If one gardener can provide enemy intel, imagine what 1 million potential terrorists crossing the border can do in a few years.
I take it you think the gardener was a spy? Alternatively, after that day, he thought be a Japanese person in viewing distance of Pearl Harbor was not a good idea. Think about it.
The Chinese paid the Bidens for the privilege of buying land wherever they want.
I noticed there is a red square on that map in Kansas. Looks like it would be up around Salina, which has one of the longest jet aircraft runways in America. Can’t believe one of my fellow Kansas farmers would sell their land to the chicoms.
It’s way past time to take it back.
Do you believe in huge coincidences?
China has us drilled like Swiss-cheese.
Millions of expats, some with loyalties back home and in positions with security clearances: Wenheng Zhao, Alexander Yuk Ching Ma... Honey-pots: Swalwell...
Even the very institutions tasked to find spies, are full of spies.
The consequence of having: 5.4 million people living in the US that were born in the PRC.
The consequence of having students and professors from the PRC at US universities doing defense research.
The consequence of having a lot of PRC HQ’d firms operating in the US, which are allowed to spend on political campaigns, the parties, lobbying efforts, etc.
The consequence of having the DoD, IC, and everyone else in government basically using PRC made phones, PRC made desktop computers/laptops, PRC made network equipment, PRC made printers, PRC made monitors, PRC made keyboards, PRC made mouse...
The PRC has us drilled at every level, both civilian and government, in every critical area.
Briben’s America.
Not surprising...
The thousands of chicom military members have to have lots of strategically-located training locations...
All I can figure is that they are showing counties in which China owns farmland; they show the entireties of Riverside County, Hawaii County, Mecklenberg (Charlotte, NC) County, and several others I recognize immediately.
We can thank President Sniffer and his ‘intelligence’ goons and thugs for this horror....
Yes, a Japanese George Floyd. Just running for his life from the racist white man.
The map is B.S.
For example, in Washington State, they note one base near my house in Tacoma, WA.
The farmland they note is in four counties each well over 100 miles away. And, they highlight the entire county in which, what, maybe one acre is owned by the ChiComs?
I understand that it can be problematic that China owns land right next to a base, as in Grand Forks, a site and situation with which I am familiar. There, the land is smack next to the base, as I understand it.
But the map provided makes no sense.
I hope you’re right, but I don’t like the idea of them owning so much as a square foot in the US.
Correct.

...the top 10 foreign owners of U.S. agricultural land by acres were Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, France, Denmark, Luxembourg, and Ireland. Individuals from these countries own three-quarters of the [40 million] acres owned by foreigners...
Thanks.
